fff the sandwich press is still packed up in a box somewhere and i can't find it!! ...i wonder if i can toast a sandwich with a waffle iron.

the problem with the waffle iron, other than teh waffle shape, is that it is on a hinge

so the pressure isn't as equal as on a sandwich press so things get messed up and squashed around
