Thanks everyone! I actually goofed and did 10 rows of the cable vs. lala's pattern of 6, but it still looks nice. I love socks now!

It took me a few pairs of socks before I was truly addicted... and really I wasn't "in complete love" until this past year

thank goodness I have way too much sock yarn... now I can use it up!
