i mean if she has some kind of stomach problem then that would definitely make sense as to why she wasn't eating and why the throwing up

but if she just doesn't like it then that's a different matter

yeahhh. so i thought i should first ascertain which one it was so i don't waste money on a vet trip.

if she likes it too much and eats too much she might throw up anyway... but I guess at least that's easier to check

yeah it's likely she's just stressed out

because new home + parents suddenly going away

they don't like it when people leave for unexplained long periods of time

my mum is retired so she's home almost 24/7 these last few years

so the cats are really sensitive to her presence, cleo especially

and they're burmese cats, so they're. really companionable cats. they're not really cats so much as dog-cats.

they like people and want to be around them, and they get distressed when family isn't around.

they're lovely cats but they are very fussy about their humans.

that said ours aren't burmese but they're pretty fussy too. Mum's away for two weeks and the little cat is sulking like she always does

spends all day outside and only creeps inside to eat and check that her beloved person is still not home

it's pretty rare for our cats to throw up though a they don't do it more than once a year, usually.
