because a lot has happened

so, starting with Barnaby... currently, he's still dealing with the aftermath of the Lunatic plot

seeing a close friend get killed in such a brutal way... yeah, he's dealing with nightmares most nights

and probably some insomnia... during the day, he's juggling going to work, looking after Fai, and trying to get in a little practice

with his shields. Luckily, since he hasn't yet tried experimenting with throwing them, he's able to experiment while he does the other

two things

...lol, maybe i should clarify that as 'close for him' he doesn't let people in

that he cared for Kuro at all (and he did) makes Kuro a close friend

so yeah.. he's basically just doing that and practicing his public face a lot

and trying to keep an eye on Kotetsu, but that's hard because they both have lives

since I enjoy dramas and irony and it would be kind of darkly hilarious to me if Kotetsu tried to comfort Barnaby about his nightmares

and then it came out that he was having the same kind of nightmares himself

and not telling anyone

okay, so i figured he wouldn't yell himself awake, but maybe Kotetsu can catch him slipping out for a walk or something

the end of the dream will have that scene from ep 8 where he took the crossbow bolt for Bunny

ANYWAY other than the drama and nightmares, he's trying to live his life as normally as possible

except he's being really, really quiet about talking to people /sob

for his own sanity, but before that is ALL THE HORRIBLENESS

he's using the Public Face a lot and pretty much acting normal around people he sees a lot

he's pretty much adjusted to being back here again, though he will resent this place forever for making sleeping outside so hazardous

and... there are no real dramas going on in his life (other than the cat thing, once Sanji realizes that Pumpkin's been violated)

oh, and the Sanji situation in general, which Ginko isn't sure if he should poke at or just leave it the fuck alone

though he kind of has no choice, since they have Usopp in common and Ginko won't give up his friend just because some tsundere blond

showed up

but yeah, his life is pretty stable right now.

i'm going to give him a dream of his death in August, though

and i want to do something with it... he's been having them on and off for over a year, so doing something else to shake it up a bit would

be more interesting for me XD

i was thinking about him dreaming about the other people he knows who are dead, except i think Fey wanted ot do something with Usopp's

death on her own...

thankfully it's got a time ratio on the days, so it's ICly only been a week

and he's mostly been exploring, and slowly realizing that it really isn't kannagara
