i do remember that book terrifying me when i read it in middle school, though

i found it pretty fascinating, because in my house we weren't allowed to watch TV

it's actually somewhat scary to realize just how much technology and its impact has grown just in my almost 30 years

so from my perspective it was like 'why would anyone want to burn books, they're so much fun/so useful'

so it was entertaining fiction

haha yeah, as a kid i wasnt either. but then i was also grounded from reading for like 10 years so. lols
