I visited a friend in Phoenix once, and he had a house with a flat roof. I was amazed there were no bugs to speak of. So I asked him

if it was ok to sleep on the roof with our camping gear. It was really great. Then loud birds woke me up at 5:00am or so, and they

were in a good mood cuz they kept on singin.
