Why?

he was coming out of his tube

i was going to go pick him up out of the cage so i could let him run around outside

and he bit me T_T

AFTER I GAVE HIM A PIECE OF CARROT

I had two hamsters back then and one bit me because she didn't like getting picked up all of the sudden. Moody hamster moments.
