Well...yeah, that's what you get I guess? Basically, he wasn't political about it. I can respect that.
I don't think it was that comment so much as his bad acting that kept him from getting more work.
Yeah, but his big mouth highlighted his poor acting and then he bad mouthed 2 modern legends
What's kept him from work is his attitude and his tendency to get drunk and get his ass kicked in public.
His face and body are pretty enough, like Rob Pattinson, to forgive his van Damme-ish acting skills.
He's also probably a bit of a diva to boot.
and Indy 4 did stink. It was fun in the way Temple of Doom was fun but that was bad too.
I was surprised so many people piled on top of LeBouf when honestly Spielberg pulled a Lucas with that one.
I think Lucas wrote it, actually...
but that is what I mean--the comment didn't hurt his career. Everyone said Indy4 sucked and no one else is suffering for work.
Besides, I think they marketed that film all wrong--it was supposed to be an homage to the cheesy sci-fi serials of the 50s. In that,
it succeeded gloriously. Just digitally remove all the LeBouf and it instantly becomes a fantastic film.
"fantastic" still isnt quite so good, yes it tried to be cheesy fun but was still a bit too serious at times for the cheese to be sly
I think they had two approaches melding into a mess there.
something good did come of it, though. The Lego sets were awesome.
Was fun Harrison and Shia eye candy
