Nina peeks up over behind him and watches him sketch.
hums quietly in acknowledgement to the fairy's presence, though doesn't bother to check which one it is.
flew to the other side of the sketchbook and swatted at the pencil whenever it came close to her.
casually drew a line away from her, then glanced at her. Recognising the fairy, he lifted his head to look around for it's caretaker.
Nina followed the pencil, trying to nab it. The other wasn't anywhere to be seen, surprisingly.
returned his attention to the fairy, letting on a small smile as he hovered the pencil in a circle around her.
Nina made a few sounds as she kept trying to grab the pencil but failing. She pouted and crossed her arms, glaring at it after.
nudged her gently with the rubber end of the pencil.
Nina made a cute yelping sound before pouting at him and fluttering her wings.
gave a crooked smile and put down his pencil, it resting on the half-done image of a wide and flat field. Instead he held his hand out
towards the fairy for her to sit in if she wished.
Nina eyed his hand for a moment before fluttering over and contently sitting on it. Before falling back and sprawling over it, making a
content happy sound as she nuzzle his palm.
hummed pleasantly and lowered his hand to lie comfortably while softly petting the magical female.
Nina wiggled under his touch, making more tiny cute sounds. She liked being around him.
watched her quietly with a calm smile on his face. Finally, though, he had to ask. ".. Hei, lil' one. Where's Søren?"
Nina nommed lightly on his thumb, finding it fun. "~I dunno~" She chimed happily.
made a small, thoughtful hum. He didn't mind her soft biting and just continued petting her absently. "Alright, then.. You're doing well?"
Nina hummed and nodded as she fluttered her wings and pulled at this thumb, to no success flying away with it. "~Ja ja~ I'm very well~"
idly played along and lifted his hand with her directions. "Mm, great. Don't want it any other way."
Nina smiled and giggled before letting go of his finger and flying to sit on his knee. "~Ja ja~ He's taken good care of me~"
nodded and dropped his hand, picking up the pencil again as he continued on sketched the landscape. "Of course."
Nina hummed and kicked her feet lightly back and forth as she looked around. "~Nice drawing, by the way~"
glanced up to her from where he was sketching down the leaves of a tree. "Takk. D'you recognise the place?"
Nina shook her head sadly. She hadn't seen that place before, or if she had she had forgotten.
brushed a hand over the sheet and nodded calmly. "Mm, well I guess the enviroment over there is too alike."
Nina hummed and sprawled out over the top of the sketchbook. "~What does Søren mean to ye, Håkon~?~"
stilled for a few moments, seemingly in his own thoughts, then looked back to her. He could trust fairies. ".. Sure you'd understand?"
Nina smiled and nodded. "~Ja, of course! I understand a lot of things.~"
drew a small breath. "His meanin' to me.. is much like the ocean." He confessed vaguely, yet to himself it felt much more revealing. He
glanced briefly at her, uncertain if he should or even would explain better.
Nina tilted her head as she looked at him. "~How so?~"
shifted a bit, though he didn't feel uncomfortable. "A constant, y'know. Comfort, joy, bitterness, need.." He trailed off, almost surprised
at how easy and natural the words felt. ".. Adoration."
Nina giggled cutely and kicked her legs a bit. "~Anything else?"
glanced at her and arched an eyebrow slightly, wondering why she was so awfully curious. "Like what, for example?"
Nina shrugged her shoulders and hide a bit behind the book giggling more. "I don't know~I just thought ye'd have more to say about him..~"
gently patted the top of her head with his finger. "If y'read into it, I've said much more than just a list of words."
Nina giggled some more and wiggled under his finger. "~So would ye say ye loooove him~?~"
took a calm breath and sank a bit more down in the hammock, petting her lightly. "That's what adoration means, in a way." Somehow he always
found it easier to talk openly to the magical creatures, and it felt a little relieving.
Nina giggled and flew up above his head, just over his nose. "~He'll love to know this!~"
blinked softly at her as he followed her with his eyes. "Why, have y'spoken to him too?"
Nina shakes her head. "~Nej, he just asked me to find out. So now I'ma go back and tell him.~" She nodded confidently.
stared at her, a strange feeling building up. ".. Really. He didn't take the chance himself?"
Nina giggled and flew around him. "~I don't know~ He just wanted me to ask ye~"
watched her flutter around, tapping the pencil against the notebook. "I see.." Though really, he felt a bit lost.
Nina stopped and settled in his hair. "~Ye aren't gonna try and stop me?~" She played a little with the strands around her.
"Perhaps." He looked ahead at one of the trees the hammock was tied to, turning thoughts around in his head.
Nina pouted and leaned upside down to look him in the eyes. "~Perhaps? Why perhaps?~"
raised a hand carefully and picked her down by her middle, though admittedly it had been nice having her play with his hair. "There, done."
Nina blinked and was grabbed before she could untangle herself. She pouted and flapped her wings, trying to get free. "~Not fair!~"
hummed amusedly, loosening the hold a bit. "'n your little conspiracy was?"
Nina whined and kept trying to move away. "~I just wanted to tell hiiimmm... don't be so mean.~"
leant back and tilted his head to the side. "Won't it be more fun to see if he can figure it out himself..?"
Nina pouted and gave up trying to escape. "~I guess... I just wanted to be useful...~"
sighed softly and simply placed her in his palm, sneaking his phone out of his pocket with his free hand. "I'm sure y'help Søren with lots."
Nina tried to peek at his phone. "~Some times. But this seemed important to him~"
just sent the Dane a message casually telling him he held a certain fairy hostage for treason, humming distractedly in response. "Mhm.."
pouted at the text and started making his way over. Nina just rolled around in his hand.
slipped the phone back into his pocket and put Nina back on top of his head, his hands soon occupied with drawing again.
Nina happily got settled back in his hair, making it messy like the Danes. She liked her little hair nests she made.
made a mildly displeased sound as her ruffling tugged on the strands of hair clipped back. He unclipped the cross and turned it around,
brushing his thumb across the worn metal.
Nina smiled and yawned cutely before nestling up and falling asleep. The Dane himself started walking over to him a bit later.
smirked as he saw the others actions towards the cross. "Jeez, Nor."
started slightly at his voice, having been lost in thought. He turned his head carefully to look at him, not wanting to wake Nina. "Hva?"
nods towards the clip, keeping his hands in his pockets. "I thought only in my dreams did ye caress yer clip like that. But apparently not."
He couldn't help but smirk a toothy grin at him.
kept quiet for a few moments, glancing back at the cross and then up to him. "Apparently not.." He repeated, as if realising it himself
smirked and made room for him to sit on the hammock. "So, how's the trouble maker?" He noticed she was asleep in his hari.
moved his legs to the side, though the hammock was large enough for two. "Awfully curious, but she seems to have calmed down on that point."
chuckled and leaned back, letting his feet up from the ground so they swung a bit. "Isn't she always. What was she curious about this time?"
fiddled idly with the hairpin, unable to put it back without waking the fairy. ".. You, if y'didn't know."
blinks as he looked at the other. "Me? Why me? She already knows tons 'bout me."
stared at him, then looked down to the cross and shook his head gently. "Nei, from my point of view."
blinks. "Ooohhhh. Well, tell me 'bout it then." He was rather oblivious as to what went on.
hums quietly and turns the clip around once, seemingly very fascinated by it all of a sudden. "Why? Don't you already know?"
shrugs and looked up to the sky. "I guess."
glances at him carefully. He covers the cross with his fingers in one hand and picks up the pencil with the other as he continues to sketch
out the flat field. ".. I don't think y'do." He mutters under his breath.
hummed and looked over, getting comfortable beside him. "Nej? Why?"
paused the pencil for a bit, then shook his head softly and drew a swift line. "It'd be a tad different then, I think."
raised his brow as he looked over. "Whhhhy?" Nina started to stir after a bit and yawn quietly.
didn't take particular notice of the fairy and simply kept his eyes on his work. "You've no idea at all?"
shrugs. "Nej, not really..." Nina crawled down the Norwegians face a few moments later, the Dane obliviously looking up at the sky.
followed the fairy with his eyes, picking her up when she ended up on his nose, and sighed quietly to himself.
Nina made a quiet squeaking sound as she was pick up, and just clung to the Norwegians hand. Den looked over and smirked. "Ah, there's the
"Mhm." He hummed idly and let the fairy down on the other's chest. "Let her out of sight again?"
shrugs. "S'not my fault she can fly." Nina pouted at him before smirking and looking to Nor. "~Ye know ye dreams of ye~~" Den made an
almost choked sound before trying to grab her, but she flew from his chest and by Nor's shoulder.
glanced at him slowly, then raised a hand to cover his mouth as he couldn't help but snicker.
huffed and tried to grab her. "Ye bloody liar!" Nina giggled and flew behind Nor, making the Dane basically crawl over him. He still didn't
manage to get her though.
still snickering, a small smile on his lips once he stopped. Reaching up, he grasped the knot of Denmark's tie and pulled him down by it. _
"Shut it, will you." He murmured before kissing him.
flailed a bit before supporting himself by placing his palms on the Norwegians shoulders. It took a few moments for him to register what was
actually going on, and when it finally clicked he just kind of stared dumbfoundedly at the other.
loosened his hold on the tie and leant back in the hammock, looking off to the side with a slightly smug expression. ".. I've had better
didn't know how to feel really, he was rather conflicted. "Ja, well... we're not drunk." He thought those were just times when he took
gave him a mildly unimpressed look, and let his dull gaze down. "Suppose I've misunderstood, then.."
sighed and gripped his shoulders a bit. "S'not that, Nor..." He looked the side, frowning. He just kept thinking about Tino.
kept his expression unreadable and his tone flat, not at all feeling as happy as he did only a few minutes ago. "Of course not."
slowly drew his hands back, sitting back on the other a bit. "S'Tino..."
frowned lightly and crossed his arms over his chest, digging his fingers distractedly into his side. "Hm..?"
sighed and looked up to the sky. "He likes ye. Simple as that."
blinked a few times, the frown easing slightly if only in surprise. ".. He told you that?"
nods. "Went to visit him a while ago and we got into that conversation. He's had a crush of ye for a while now I guess..." It almost hurt
him to say that, but he didn't want to screw up like he had in the past.
wasn't sure how to feel about that, but he was certain he definitely wanted things cleared up now. "And... what 'bout you?"
gulped quietly. "... What about me?"
let out a silent breath and looked up at him steadily. "Y'know what I mean very well, Søren."
felt his pace pick up when the other said his human name. "Well..." He fidgeted a bit with his fingers, not knowing how to reply.
chewed the inside of his lip, before deciding to try and help him along. "You already said it's not just for drunken games.."
sighs, feeling defeated. "I've never stopped havin' feelin's for ye, Håkon."
's mask fell immediately, his expression showing exactly what he was feeling - speechless. He's at a momentary loss of response, and simply stares up at him, feeling oddly warm inside.
fidgeted a little with his shirt still. "I just... figured I lost my chance with ye. Once I heard Fin had a thing for ye I assumed I'd step back and let ye two be." He looked down and rubbed the back of his
neck. "I just thought I lost my chance...." He talked quietly, almost upset at himself for having lost the chance in the first place.
snapped out of his stunned state and frowned, listening to him. He freed his legs and carefully shifted onto his knees, glad the hammock was steady enough. Taking one of Denmark's jittery hands in both his own,
he leant in to kiss his cheek, staying close as he spoke, "You're the only one I'd ever want a chance with, Søren.."
blushed but smiled as he looked down at him. "Really...? Even though I'm an idiot and fuck up a lot?" He couldn't get over on how the other used his human name.
nods, a small smile pulling on the corner of his lips. "Really."
smiled wider at that and hugged him tightly, almost protectively now. "I dunno what to say..." It meant so much to him that Nor would accept him again
embraced him and digged his fingers into the shirt material, almost as if was clinging to the moment. He shrugged lightly, a fluttering feeling in his chest and he hid his smile against the Dane's shoulder.
wiggled a bit. "Ye always make me happy, Nor... But this time ye over did it..." He couldn't help but laugh cheerfully.
chuckled a little and hummed pleasantly, pulling back just a tad to look at him. "Doin' a good job at it yourself.." He exhaled quietly and glanced down, almost unable to believe what Søren had said.
hugged him again and fell onto their sides into the hammock, rolling a bit. "Norge Norge Norge~" He was too happy to control himself, really.
pushed lightly at his chest, just to keep a safe distance. He moved his hand to the Dane's arm, putting some pressure on it to subtly ask him to be more still.
smiled and wiggled still as he looked at the other. He wasn't much of one for being still for long periods of time.
knew that very well. He gave him half a smile and wrapped an arm over his chest, snuggling close to him.
wrapped both arms around him, resting his hands on his back. He took a deep breath, enjoying the others body against his.
