I think so. At least I tried to do that at least by being really honest from the start. I guess time will tell.

non-competes are never good if you are staying in the same industry. That happened to me at my last job.

the non compete was legally OK to get around, I felt that at a personal level it wasn't. Ironic, since I was laid off.
