Although I did enjoy a couple of them (who am I kidding, they felt good), I can't imagine living life addicted to them!

I do have an addictive personality but good grief, caffeine and chocolate are so much more rewarding!

I really just don't like loosing control of my faculties I guess.

and when it comes down to it, I'd rather take my inner pain to the One who can heal my heart rather than masking it with substances. Jesus, through His Spirit, truly satisfies.

I so understand. I have addictive pain meds and sleeping meds to help me with my health problems and take them both so rarely because I prefer letting God control these instead.

I really need them right now but they so muck up my thoughts! And now... I'm getting a rash and itch from head to toe!

Oh no... I hope it's not from the meds. I take my meds when absolutely necessary. When I messed up my wrist, I took them more often, but yeah... I hated the inability to think well.

well, the meds lasted about as long as they needed to before I lost tolerance to them. I am now officially allergic to all narcotics!
