jaokolad, since you're here and my understanding of Silent Hill is only in passing: how would otherworlds play out for characters who have been in contact with/originated from extradimensional landscapes

like Umineko, Madoka, BRS and such

They're yours to do with as you want. They can be as big or little, and hold as many monsters of whatever kind you'd like.

They should represent your character's personal hell in a dark and abstract way.

If you're at a loss for what to do, you can use the game's iconic industrial metal settings.

if a character's accompanied by character from another canon, would they see different personal hells simultaneously?

It would be centered around one person at a time.

This way you can have someone join your character and help them face these horrible aspects of themself together.

another question: is there a list of polaroids to be found? the post makes references to them and how some may depict scenes from certain characters canons, but I can't seem to find what those are

You have to search the maps for the polaroids and such.

We might give a list of what canons have polaroids or numbers, but not the locations or links.
