Ken do you know how to merge cells in a table in a google doc? Can't figure it out, heard might need a plugin.

i know how to do that.. all you have to do is drag the cell till you see --> sign and drag it over

I'm not getting the sign and haven't been able to find a way to get cell properties to open or find a merge option. Checked online boards and it is widely known this is an issue. Work in spreadsheets & preso

brina1300: the only other thing I have seen with this is that the browser you are using can be part of the problem. Not always though
