They totally pissed me off this time.
I was told I can cancel anytime as long as I told them in advance.
They now charge me for the full last month plus un-returned device, which I returned the week after cancellation!
Telus can go to hell now. Will never get my business.
They also send my file to collection agency before they made any attempt to contact me at all.
What kind of company this is.

I called Telus CS and they asked me to call collection. Call collect and they asked me to call Telus collection.
I will try today again. If they don't revert the charge, I will file a compliant with CTTS.
Ok. Telus now reverts the charge on the modem but still wants the last month fee.
