Odd question/survey, plurk. Does it bother you when strangers smile at you in passing, or does it make you happy? Or do you not feel any particular way about it... (thinking)

I usually smile back and don't even think about it
BUT if you feel creeped out or unsure, then you have a right to be bothered. It's your own comfort level, darling.

Oh, I was asking because I was curious! My answer is mostly the same as your guys', I think it's kind of nice.

It doesn't bother me, usually! Either I smile back or I don't even notice, haha.

It surprises me but I'm mostly happy and smile right back…I am scared all the while but try not to make it obvious.

it annoys me, actually. I feel obligated to smile back so the moment is not completely awkward but I'm always like "why are you smiling at me, we don't know each other"

unless there is something that we are actually sharing in like, "yes we are both walking in the pouring rain without umbrellas haha rain buddies!" that would be okay

Makes sense! I don't particularly like being asked to smile when I don't want to myself.
