well, anyone can tell you that Something Botanicals is NOT Botanical... I guess I set myself up for that one years ago

People confuse my store with a Botanical Gardens sim, and one person thought I ran breedable plants called Sibotanical...

At the time I chose the name though, there was no one remotely called Botanical in SL, which is why I went with it.

Just want to be clear.. I was honestly just asking.. nothing snarky or hidden

btw, you can still trademark the name botanical for your SL wares. And since you can prove you have time priority, after trademarking, You could send cease and desist letters to people selling similar products

Yes, I've seen the same. Blog and Marketplace. Since those are the two keyword searchable places for SL people... It's not that surprising. I'm just going to have to risk offending them and talk to Lilith.

Yours is a rightful concern. And if they are offended by this, just change the name of your store. I would suggest Broken Heart Botanicals

yep, a lot out there. At the time I wasn't really worried about that, though. I just tried to find a unique name in SL,

there are pics from 2009 in her flickr group where there was already a reference to "heart Botanical" in the pic description. Some pics earlier were still described as "garden center"

Right on. Like I said initially, Just asking, because I missed it at some point I think my use of just plain old "Botanical" is pretty secure in SL.
