hahah, well, since I lost all my old sculpt files, I can't do direct mesh conversion of some of the older stuff.. that would have been optimal, to at least keep the same silhouette without reinvention

No, I pulled them out for a few reasons... I want to phase out the sculpts, the texture makes me cringe, I hate trying to explain to people that they can't see particles if they reach the client draw limit,

and the star was temp rez, which is most times fine, but has a habit of acting up between server patches. sometimes not disappearing, sometimes not appearing and throwing errors.

Mainly though... I don't like how the texture looks. 4 years ago I had a much rougher solution for the texture. It's very smeared.

I used my old tree every year until I got your new ones, but I still would use it anyway.  I think they hold up really well and you're being too hard on yourself.
