why do we still have this glitch after this many years D:

it's not an SL thing... it's just a thing. If I could easily force a 1 bit alpha on this, it would clear up, but that's proving problematic at best

Once you get a bunch of these together, it's REALLY bad. I didn't bother taking a picture of that, because I couldn't find a branch that was working right to compare/contrast against.
