Does anyone know if there is a way to 'live stream' TV on an iPad or Kindle etc. ??

I've tried that Bro, it shows previous recorded. Dad wants to watch the game on the back or front porch.

There's a new xfinity app called the xfinity player. Try finding that. It's a freebie

dadler4108: that's assuming she has xfinity at home, which you may know but I didn't.. DirecTV has the same kind of thing

I only know about xfinity/comcast, since that's who I have. Not sure what you've got Suz.

this is for mom and dad. dad wants to be able to watch the game live outside. the xfinity app and others as far as I could test only gives shows/games already aired. kinda like hulu and netflix.

aside from changing to direct tv or time/warner cable which does allow live streaming. was tryin to find out. I'll have to play again with the xfinity app

I did and they all seem to be to "you stream full episodes of their most recent shows" which isn't watching it as it airs on tv

they moved to a 55 & older place with strict rules so they only have an itty bitty back area or I'd have spliced the cable and ran a line out back. but they can't put up any kind of covering for it. LOL
