I think one of the things that made Moffat such a great writer was the contrast between something as terrifying as the Weeping Angels or as heartbreaking as the Girl in the Fireplace and the crazy Unicorn and

the Wasp eps, the ones that were just crazy and clearly writers going "WE HAVE A SPACE SHOW LET'S WRITE ABOUT CRAZY SHIT"
