everytime i take a picture or try to upload a texture I crash. but, i just reinstalled the viewer hoping that will stop that.

staceyzirgar: That is most likely the Skydrive/cloud storage crash. You may have Skydrive without knowing it if you updated Essentials. There are suggested solutions here: wiki.phoenixviewer.com/c...

Zaafir: Do make sure you're sending crash reports in. We have one dev in particular who mostly works on crashes, based on those reports. If it's a regular problem, our troubleshooting page is here:

I've been sending in crash reports. It always happens when I cam/zoom in to something, like a vendor or a texture on a wall, etc. Zoom in is really touchy. FYI, I'm on a Mac OS, in case that helps.

I've not used FS for any length of time before. I've recently crossed over from Phoenix. This didn't happen in that viewer.

Well, try the troubleshooting page I gave above... any suggestions I could give are already there. First one is Windows-only, so start with the VBO tip and work from there. VBO's the first one I'd try anyway.

If nothing there helps, you can file a JIRA and we can look at your crash logs directly that way (can't really do that on plurk lol) and see if they give clues to the crashing.
