contemplating preventing usage of the gears in game

The rules state that they don't nerf all the abilities, but to pull Luffy from God-Pirate status, I figured it would be safest to place my own restrictions on his abilities.

I know I'm keeping his simple physical attacks for certain, like Gatling Gun, Bazooka, etc.

But the Gears, especially the techniques used in the latter chapters, seem like they'd push the restrictions of the game a tad too much for comfort.
