okay friends, I've never blocked a shawl before, and I don't own wires...any feedback as to how to proceed?

I dry block most of the time. But wet blocking is easier for the 1st try. Soak the shawl for 20 min, if you have wool wash, add some to the

carpet or mattress. The pin out using t-pins. I start with the top edge center, pinning every inch or so. But check the outer edge as you go

gently temp. pin it in places to make sure your getting the right shape & not over stretching the top. Then go back & adjust the bottom edge

pinning points or what ever shape it is until you're happy with the look. Leave until dry, then unpin.
