opened it not long after, covered in some paint. He was glad to see her, even if he didn't show it much.

smiles brightly at him, handing him the box of chocolate. "Hi."

nods as he took it. "Hallo." He stepped to the side to let her in, not wanting to let all the cold air in.

scrunched up his face at that and closed the door behind her. "How have you been?"

-"Fine. I've just missed you so much." She moved to embrace him, burying his face against his chest.

made a quiet sound at that but sighed, putting his arms around her and let her do what she wanted. He rested his head against hers lightly. "I've missed you too..."

relaxes against him. She had missed his hugs. "How have you been?"

shrugs. "I've been fine. Staying inside a lot lately because of the weather."

nods. "Yeah, that's good." She smiles, looking up at him. "Have you been taking care of yourself?"

nodded as slowly brought the two of them towards the kitchen to put some tea on. "Ja. Of course." He didn't like getting sick any ways.

follows, moving to sit up on the counter once they were in the kitchen. "Good. Or I might have punched you."

rolls his eyes. "I'm supposed to be looking after you, not the other way around."

rolls her eyes at him. "You're the one that needs looking after."

huffs. "What are you implying with that?"

- "I'm not implying, I'm saying that you are the one that needs to be taken care of."

sighs as he handed her a mug of tea. "I've not been sick in years."

-"No but you sometimes let yourself get bad." She took the mug and set it aside, taking Nikolaas' hand and tugging him close.

stepped closer to her, not pulling his hand from hers after.

leaned up to kiss his forehead. "Is it so bad that I look after you?"

shakes his head as he looked to her. "No, but you shouldn't. I can take care of myself."
