last week, I found out that a water pipe in my house burst, and that it's been leaking for weeks.

I've been in maryland since august, and the house has been empty since november; my husband turned the heat off before he left.

so the pipe froze and burst.

right now, my dining room ceiling is caving in, and so is the garage.

insurance won't cover it since we were technically negligent, due to being stupid first-time homeowners.

every room in my house is damaged, and the repairs have been estimated at being upwards of $10k.

I have a fundraiser and I've been trying to promote it on tumblr, but so far my attempts at signal boosting have been miserable.

another friend posted on reddit, but no interest there either.

I'm due home in a month and as it stands, there's not much for me to return to.

if anyone can help in any way, be it signal boosting or donating, you'll be my hero forever.

I know most of you probably don't even remember me, and are wondering why I'm on your friend list, but this is the last thing I could think of.

I need help and I have nowhere else to turn that won't put us more in debt.
