has prepared both horses and is just waiting on the Turk.
found him easily enough, his stuff neatly packed into his old saddle bags and his bedding rolled neatly enough.
notices the Turk and smiles lightly as he leads the horses towards him. His is already packed up and ready to go. "I got the same ones from last time." He says as he offers the rein to Hilda.
smiles in return as he set one of his bags down so he can take the reigns. "Good morning Ludwig."
had nearly forgotten it was still morning...having woken up a lot earlier than he had intended. "Ah, ja, right. Good morning."
laughs a bit at the response as he started getting his saddle bags on the horse along with everything else.
flushes at the laugh as he occupies himself with his horse.
finished getting Hilda ready and patted her lightly on the flank. "Ready to go?"
nods as he mounts his horse. "I've been ready for a while. It'll be a long trip."
mounted as well and motioned for him to lead the way. "I can handle it."
had a feeling the Turk would and sets off in the opposite direction of his house. They would be staying quite far from any town...considering the proximities of towns in Germany.
started to follow him, keeping distance as he settled in to enjoy the ride.
would occasionally point out certain areas and ruins as they go.
enjoyed each bit of information, storing all away for later.
ends up stopping for a bit to give the horses a break since it had been a few hours of riding and it was nice to give their legs a stretch.
thankful for the break, he dismounted and carefully tied Hilda so she could graze a bit. He grabbed a small bit of bread and cheese he'd pack.
stretching a bit, to loosen up his stiff muscles. It had been a while. "Not too cold?" He asks.
shakes his head as he unwrapped the food and offered Ludwig a piece of bread with cheese. "Not at all."
glances at the food and grabs a bit with a small smile. "Danke." He says before taking a bite. "What do you think so far?"
smiles in return as he took a bite of his own piece. "It's nice, perfect idea for a get away."
glad to hear that. The Turk looked a little stressed and down in the weather in his opinion. "There's only a few more hours of travelling and we'll get at the camp spot."
wasn't all that stressed at all and he was feeling okay. He had a lot on his mind. He nodded at that as he ate the cheese. "Sounds good."
this helps clear his mind in that case but doesn't push for more conversation.
watched him for a bit as he ate quietly before he started speaking again. "So how are you and Italy doing?"
why everyone is always bringing Italy up. "We're as usual. How are you and Greece?" He tenses a bit as he strolls a bit further away from the Turk to take a seat in the grass.
shrugged as he moved to take a seat as well, content to give the German his distance. "Haven't seen him in a while. I doubt that will be going anywhere any time soon."
thinks their in the same predicament in that case. Not that he'll say that out loud. "To bad." He says quietly.
nods a bit as he swallowed the rest of his food. "What happens happens..." He shrugs, it bothered him but he didn't think much on it.
couldn't agree more. "Are you okay if we take another forty mins before heading out?"
leaned back a bit where he was sitting and nods. "That's fine with me."
actually wanted this to be a relaxing trip for once. "The weather was on our side today. I wasn't sure if we'd be able to ride."
focused on not looking at the other as he nodded, leaning back to look up at the sky. "Well then I guess we were lucky.
doesn't even notice the other is focusing on not looking on him. He gazes outwards quiet, remembering.
glanced over at him and smiles. He was rather enjoying this is was nice and quiet.
thinks they should try doing something similar like this again. Keeps things interesting and not all about work. He slowly gets up and
heads over to Hans. "Let's keep going. "
slowly got up as well and headed over to Hilda getting her ready again.
mounts Hans and waits for the Turk. "I'm glad you were able to make it."
mounted as well and fixed the reigns a bit before waiting for Ludwig to lead the way.
starts off, heading south east.
followed after him, encouraging his horse to catch up to Ludwig's.
glances back at Sadik before glancing forward again. "Having trouble catching up today?" He quirks a brow.
shakes his head and laughs, "not at all, I just enjoy the view from back here better."
chuckles lightly. "I see."
nods and smiles at that as he took the ride easily.
leads them into a forested area, the trail narrow but wide enough for the horses. However, they would have to occasionally duck in some areas.
followed after him, ducking when he needed to. Hilda seemed content with the trail.
it's been a while since either horses have gone on such an 'extensive' trip. "We should be almost there." He comments as he notices the first clearing.
enjoying the ride and Hilda didn't seem to mind it either. He nodded a bit at that, "oh good."
leads them through more windy trails, these one's much easier yo maneuver.
followed him, easily catching up now to him.
only stops when they pass three more clearings and get to the fourth. He gets off of Hans and glances around. "This is it."
dismounted when he was in the clearing and looked around. "Looks good," he took his time to take the tack off of Hilda and tied her so she could graze.
starts to unpack his things as well as he begins to set things up.
started setting up the tent he'd brought with ease and practice. It hadn't been that long after all.
had everything set up and even set up an area where they could build a fire, with the wood he had brought from home.
finished with his stuff and moved to join Ludwig. "Looks good, thank you for inviting me."
glances up at him. "No problem, really."
moved to sit next to him as he nodded. "I am surprised you asked me actually."
was setting up the fire. "Why are you surprised?"
let him work on it figuring he would just get in the way at the moment. "I was sure you would do your best to make sure we weren't alone for any length of time."
it started and starts blowing a bit on the newspaper he had brought before it begins to come to life. "Should I be worried in that case?" He asks very calmly.
shrugs as he watched him. "I don't wish to do anything worth worrying over."
gets up and brings over two make shift chair of logs. "I doubt I have anything to worry about. I'll get the food, sit down."
glanced at the make shift chairs and took a seat, "glad we're on the same page then."
brings back some turkey sausages and bread before taking a seat of his own. "Here~" he passes a metal rid to the Turk and some food.
takes the food with a thanks. "So anything exciting going on?"
heats up the metal rod before placing the sausage on it to roast. "I'll be going to a theatre production with Elizabeta and you?"
followed suit slowly, taking his time as he nodded. "Nothing really. Work I suppose."
thinks its a good thing they're doing this in that case. "Well lets make the best if this in that case."
nods as he let the meat cook. "What are the plans for the evening then?"
slowly turns the sausage around in the fire. "Maybe if we finish eating before the sun goes down we could take a small hike. If not, there
is stargazing we can do." He says giving some options.
nods at the suggestions as he focused on cooking his food. "Sounds good to me."
smiles slightly. "And later on we'll see what we have time for."
smirks at that as he put the rod down carefully and went to get two bottles of beer from his things. He handed one to the German before sitting down again. "We shall see."
