had had a very long day and was exhausted and hungry. He had gone to the nearest restaurant from the shop and gently eased himself in a booth exhausted.
looks up when the bell above the door rings, alarming of a new customer. He sees where the man sits before going to put away the dishes, then walks up to his booth with a smile. "Would you like a menu, sir?"
had been resting his head on his crossed arms before looking up at the voice, his gaze fixing on the smaller looking male. "What model are you?" He asks after a long pause between the two. It was obvious the
server wasn't human...or at least it was obvious to him.
blinks heavily, glancing over to the door to the kitchens where his owners were. He's not been told to answer such a question from a customer, and so returns to the previous topic. "Can I take your order?"
studies him and makes an educated guess before giving him a small smile. "I'll have your special with a coffee."
temporarily saves the order into a memory folder. "Thank you, it'll be with you soon!" He smiles brightly and walks to the kitchen, the smile fading as he goes through the door.
'S faze follows the AI curiously and impassively. He wanted to know more about him.
returns a little while later, placing a plate of apple pie and vanilla ice cream in front of him along with a cup of coffee. "I hope you like it, sir."
blinks at the food placed in front of him. He hadn't checked what it had been but was not disappointed. "Ah Danke...can I at least know your name?"
smiles again, observing that he seems pleased. "Feliciano, sir. 2001." He'd asked his employer if it was something he should tell, which she'd been practically indifferent about.
smiles back. "2001, you've been taken care of well. It's nice to meet you Feliciano. My name is Ludwig."
doesn't say anything on the first statement. "It is nice to meet you too.. Ludwig." He takes a brief moment to file the name with his appearance. "We'd be happy to have you come here again~"
's lips thin at how artificial Feliciano was. "Ah, ja...I might come back..."
hadn't found it in his place to agree or disagree with the statement on his treatment. He'd not been upgraded in a long while.. "You're welcome any time." He hums, then moves to leave for the kitchen again.
doesn't want to stare so he focuses on his food. He eats it slowly and pensively.
recieves a few more orders before he retreats to the kitchen. He shows up again after a while, carrying the soup bowls as he walks to the respective tables.
had finished the ice cream and pie and was now working on his coffee. His gaze would trail after Feliciano at times.
standing by the last table when it happened; the mechanism of his right wrist squeaked, and a tremor took over the joints in his hand. Feliciano seemed to go blank in the short seconds it happened, but the _
customer on which the soup bowl had fallen on was shreeking and effectively drew attention to the situation.
blinks and glances up at the scene frowning before he quickly gets up and makes his way towards Feliciano, apologizing for the spill before gently guiding him towards the kitchen door and away from prying
eyes. He doesn't say anything opting for silence as he pulls out some of his tools before first examining the wrist and then setting to work.
takes a few moments to process what just happened, looking almost devastated as he rants off the practised apologies. The offended customer huffs and grabs for a napkin, only a little calmed when Ludwig _
appears. Feliciano, on the other hand, is having trouble comprehending what's going on as he's lead to the kitchens by the stranger. "S-sir.. Ludwig, what are you doing?" He falls silent once they're still and_
the human meddles with his wrist, his emotional centre relaxing as it registers a normal situation.
glances up briefly at Feliciano's before glancing down again to tighten a loose bolt. "I'm just making sure that doesn't happen again."
a nod in response. He hears hurried steps and a concerned frown twists his features. The owner appears, a sturdy woman smudged with flour who stops short seeing the pair. "There was a scream!" Glaring _
suspiciously at Feliciano, she turns to Ludwig, "Was it you? Did it do something wrong?!"
puts away his screw driver before frowning at the woman. "It wasn't me and it was a minor functional problem that I fixed." He explains calmly.
bows his head, ashamed that he'd failed in such a simple task. The woman gasps, staring wide-eyed at the blonde. "No one asked for you to help! God, now we have to pay?!" She curses, glare flitting over to_
's frown deepens. "It's free of charge but I'll have you know that you should take better care of Feliciano. You run a restaurant it would do you little good to have an AI with wrist problems because you refuse
