My response was to close the door and blitz through Blackgate and Kaineng territory in WvWvW naked in a misplaced effort to get to those undiscovered points unmolested.

what happened?
We're due to replace our 18-year old Mitsubishi Lancer and our 19-year-old Toyota LiteAce.
I told him to take advantage of Mitsubishi's anniversary sale and trade in the Lancer. They took it to get appraised and the dealer says he'll give us 50k for it, on top of the 26k and 15k and 5k discounts
available during the promo period.
I told him that 96k total up-front is as good as if he'd displayed the car in Chinatown with a "for sale for 100k" sign on the window--which was NOT guaranteed to get him any buyers, anyway.
He called me stupid and said that it was no wonder I failed math in college.
Because I didn't know how to count.
Haha we've been getting into arguments about this the past month.
Idk he's being stubborn about it. My point is that we need to get rid of our old cars (why not turn a profit while we're at it) to make space for new ones.
He refuses to sell the old cars for anything less than 100k each, and would rather keep them and buy the new vehicles.
I keep telling myself to just stop arguing with him because it's pissing me off--and now that I'm about to get my period, it has the distressing effect of making me sad and weepy.
But no, I am stupid and can't keep myself from stating my opinions and making each new attempt to pound some logic into his hard head.
( So I went online on GW2 and murdered things and felt better. )
Murdering mobs does tend to help.
And I finally decided on my main's final outfit and color scheme. Shopping, digital-style!
Disclaimer: I failed advanced calculus in college, which is NOT normal math, as far as common sense is concerned.
I've always gotten high marks for arithmetic subjects. >3>
ughhh >< the dealer seems to have given him a good deal. i hope it's still on the table in case he doesn't find any buyers?
i think we sold our 17-yo sedan for just a little over that.
over 100k i mean. but then we fixed him up some before we did.
As far as I know, the promo is only until March 15. I doubt that he's seriously going to display the car in Chinatown with a for sale sign.
Going to disassociate myself from the issue as much as I can. The sooner I can learn to feel apathetic about it, the easier it will be for me to resist talking to him about it.
>: The frustration and the heartache isn't worth it.
raising parents is hard. sometimes you just gotta let them make their own mistakes.
Calculus is hard. I had to take three semesters of it, so I feel your pain.
