leans riiiight ontop of her, disregarding the other's personal space. " Holly~"
grumbled and shifted enough so the other wasn't on her, while brushing off her shoulder. "Ja?" She knew the other would have shown herself eventually. It wasn't like her to give her space for a long time.
grins at that, " Where have you been?" She really liked to bother the other whenever she was bored.
had taken note of that. She inhaled deeply while closing her eyes, holding the breath before slowly letting it out. "I've been here, where else would I be? It's not like I have anyone to visit." Which was true.
shrugs and observed the other, " Dunno. Sometimes you're home, other times you're not. You'll chased me down several blocks once for breaking down your door too many times~" She hums.
tapped the ash against the railing. "Ja, because my door is what keeps everyone out. I need it always." She switched her foot on the rung for the other, letting out a sigh after.
smirks, " You should just leave me a set of keys though. It make life so much easier~" Well if she didn't lose the last pair she was given.
shakes her head. "You are not getting anymore keys for anything from me. Even my windows are locked now. And I'm not changing that."
pooouts, " That means I would be able to drop off any extra beer I get when I pass by. Laaaame."
pinched the end of her smoke before tossing it out and leaning more on the railings. "I wouldn't need extra beer anyways. I have enough to last me a few great nights. I can take care of myself, you know."
snorts at that, " Ja, I know~ If you couldn't I'll visit constantly to annoy you." She joked lightly with a grin.
watched as a few boats went under the bridge. "I'm at least glad you don't visit that often. Lately I've just been locked inside. I figure any social activity would annoy me too much."
nods slowly as she look down at the boats too. " Ja but being contact with people would at least keep our sanity. Being isolated for too long drives me crazy."
had found over the years that she herself could withstand long periods of isolation. She had gotten use to it after locking herself at home when her brother left her.
still managed to get into the other's house within those periods of isolation. She had to get to Holly some how.
had plans to buy another house where no one could find her, just so she could be absolutely alone when those times came. She really needed her space, and if anyone got to close during certain times she would >
wasn't that stupid that she would be completely oblivious towards when Holly wanted to be alone for sure.
knew that it took her a while to understand that, since there had been a few occasions where Dorthe visited her and she wanted to be alone. Right now she didn't really care, though. She took out another >
cigarette and lit it up as she started walking off of the bride and into the side streets around.
followed after, shaking her head. She at least tried to be perceptive towards the other and did respect her well enough to know when to shut up. " Where are you heading now?"
shrugged her shoulders lightly, putting her hands in her pockets as she strolled down the street. "I might work on the street tonight. Want to check out and see how busy it is before I decide."
nods along as she looked up ahead. " Hm? Seems a bit early for that...."
took a few looks in some of the buildings she worked in. "Yes, it is. But I can generally calculate what the night will be like given the recent amount of tourists there are now."
raised a brow, " Sounds like intense math there." She just looked more so to the lights around them.
finished checking the majority of her normal places. "Not really. It's just experience I'm going on. And by the looks of it it'll be a quiet night."
pouts lightly, " That means we're gonna hang out riiiiight?" She was hopeful in that department.
pulled out a smoke and lit it. "Sure. I don't have plans for the rest of the night anymore." She let out a quick puff of smoke before walking on again, no destination in mind.
changed from a surprised expression to an estatic one rather quickly after hearing that. " Good because we've got a long night ahead of us for the hell of it." She _
_hadn't come up with anything yet but kept walking for now.
didn't see why she would say those things without having actually planned anything. "Well, indulge me then."
nods but she did love spoiling the other perhaps in her own sort of way. " What are you in the the mood for?"
tapped her fingers on her lip a bit before taking a quick drag. "I wouldn't mind doing something different from going to a club and drinking. We seem to do that enough. I want different."
thought for a bit. " How about a nice dinner on a boat?" She shrugs. " Sounds lame but good for enjoying the view."
looked at her after, a little taken aback from the suggestion. She hadn't expected something like that, though couldn't be fully surprised. "Are we going to dress up for this?"
laughs at that, " If you want, I guess. I could get a friend to set us up at the nearest boutique if you like too." She really had good connections here for living around so long.
finished off her cigarette and threw it away accordingly before nodding. "Sure, why not. I miss dressing up for no real reason." She missed being in heels, too. She just didn't want to risk slipping and >
hurting herself on ice again.
would wonder how the other managed to do that to herself. Nevertheless, she took out her phone and started making some calls.
watched some people as they passed, waiting for her to finish her call. She hadn't been paying attention one day on a walk when she was in heels, and she ended up accidentally slipping on ice and hurting her >
wrist. She wasn't able to draw or paint well for a few weeks, and she fell into a light depression.
hoped this would lift her spirits up even more. She opened the door for the other to a rather expensive store. " Come on. We've got a night to relax in."
glanced at the name of the store before walking in, not sure how she could afford this. She was started to question if they needed something this fancy.
waves to the sale associate that recognized her. " Go on and try what you like. Everything else has been taken care of." She grins, already having the price of the stuff covered.
shook her head as she headed to the dresses. "I wish I knew how to get the kind of connections you have. If I could get clothes like this so easily I'd wear them constantly." She went through the blue dresses >
shrugs, " It's just a once in a while thing. I tend to go out shopping and replace Nikolaas's wardrobe when he's not looking."
didn't find that surprising. Her eyes caught onto a nice knee length blue dress, with some glitter and lace on it.
chuckles and ushered the other to the change rooms. " Try it on and tell me how you like it. We'll find accessories to match it after."
held the dress close but looked to her. "Aren't you going to find something for yourself as well?"
nods, " I already have that planned out. I just want to make sure you like whatever you find."
walked into the change room and locked the door, taking off her clothes and folding them on the bench before slipping into the dress. She turned around to see how she looked in it before stepping out of the >
room to show Dorthe. "How does this look? Does it work with my figure or no?"
smiles as she cirlcled aroind the other to get a good look before giving a nod of approval. " Seems perfect for you."
went to change out of it, easily persuaded into buying it. Now she just needed a pair of heels to go with the dress. Something with a bit of sparkle, she figures would do.
rolls her eyes, " Just keep it on so its easier to match."
guessed she would, as long as it didn't seem like they were stealing it. She packed up her other clothes and took off the tags on the dress, already feeling a little better about herself in the dress. She >
stepped out of the change room after, feeling a little awkward with the shoes she had on now. They weren't terrible, but they didn't match the dress at all.
already given the thumbs up by the manager and they had taken off the security tags after when they check for her. " Want to find another pair you might like?"
nodded to that as she started looking for the shoe section of the store. A few times she flattens the dress against her, seeing how it looked on her every now and again. She didn't like impulse buying, but if >
it didn't hurt her financially she guessed there were no draw backs.
chuckles and went to change into a dress she liked along with some nice shoes that matched. She got the approval of the sales associate and went to help the Dutchwoman after.
looked at the shoes the racks offered, pulling down a pair of blue heels. She stepped out of her other shoes and slid into the new ones, strapping them up. She took a few steps forward, feeling comfortable >
that she wouldn't fall in them.
went to get some accessories that would match with the other's dress and shoes. " How about these?"
stepped closer, already fully confident in being able to wear these heels. She liked how they weren't gaudy, and just enough to bring attention away from her chest. "They seem good for this outfit."
smiles. " Put it together. The make up artist is setting up for us."
took the accessories and got them on with ease, gathering up her other belongings to make sure she didn't forget anything at the store. She never liked losing being belongings.
doubled checked everything to make sure nothing was left behind. " Don't forget to pick a purse or a handcarry. Easier to keep the stuff."
already heading to were the bags were. She never found a use for a purse, so she guessed she could buy one just to hold her clothes in for now. She quickly picked out one that was large enough to contain her >
clothes and other items, and was glad it was rather cheap. Even if she wasn't paying, she wasn't taking something of value really.
surprised to notice that despite how frugal the other was. " You know you can just pick one you like regardless of the price and we can have the clothes dropped off along the way. We're taking a limo service."
thought this was all a little extravagant, but wouldn't complain as she wouldn't like holding her clothes all night. She still would have picked this bag regardless, though. "I think I'm ready. I feel good >
enough for a night out." She combed her fingers through her hair a few times to get out some tangles. "Are you set?"
ushered the other to the make up artist. " Ja but you aren't. Let's complete the look shall we?"
hesitant at first, since she didn't trust people that got too close to her, especially her face. Normally she'd just do it herself, but since this was to be a night out she cooperated... but just this once.
smiles and helped the other sit down. She had her make up done and all already so she was just waiting for the other.
kept her eyes closed as much as she could, besides the times she was asked to open them for the specifics. She twitched occasionally when some things were applied, like lip stick since she wasn't the most >
watched in amusement before snapping a quick photo on her phone once it was all done. " So, ready to go enjoy a good meal on a yacht?"
pursed her lips lightly before getting out of the chair and picking up her bag. "Yes. I want to get out of here and eat." She brushed her dress a bit to make sure it flowed nicely.
ensured everything was set and paid for by a few reliable people she knew. She carried her own purse and a bag containing her own clothes and led the way to the lavish car that was waiting for them_
_ outside. " This way then. Dropping the stuff off first might be better just in case you're worried about losing it."
followed her closely, loosening up her hair a little. "Yeah, I don't want to risk losing anything. Even leaving it in a car I'm not safe with." She almost never took a car though, so that might have something >
could tell as the driver greeted her in a friendly fashion and open the door for them to get into the car. " He's the driver for the events I have to go to sometimes when Nikolaas is too lazy to drive."
wondered if it was really laziness that the Dutchman said or fear. She knew she refused to drive in Amsterdam, and would rather bike everywhere. Even when transporting her art. She made sure it didn't get >
damaged. She slid into a seat and buckled up, crossing a leg over the other and looked out the window to see people walk by.
buckled up as she informed the driver of their destinations and he started to drive off. She personally preferred biking but considering what they were wearing, it was a smarter idea not too.
would agree with that this time. She knew some tourists could be some pretty big perverts, and she wasn't going to show off to them. She took pride in her figure, after all. She kept her bag on her lap, >
figured as much knowing the other. The car stopped after a while once it reached the Dutchwoman's place. " We'll drop off our stuff here and head to the place after."
got out of the car carefully and walked to her door, pulling out her keys as she walked. It didn't take long for her to open the door and walk in, putting her bag on the halfwall before keeping the door open >
put her bag of clothes in a place where she could retrieve it later. She just waited by the door for the other woman after. " I'll pick them after."
made her way back to the transportation after locking her door and hiding the key in her bra. She was glad to not have anything bulky in her hands anymore, and made sure the dress fit her form well before >
getting into the car again.
followed after with her purse in hand. She got into their car again after the driver opened the door for them and waited for them to get settled prior to driving off to the place where they were having dinner.
crossed a leg over the other as she waited during the car ride. She was quite hungry now from the shopping earlier, and was really looking forward to this, even if it didn't really show.
glad at the very least. It was an interesting place since it was a really nice yacht at the docks and a well known chef was serving them.
had missed being on a boat of any kind. She didn't have the best sea legs anymore, but this was nice. She liked the atmosphere in the area, as well as all the decor. And even the food smelt good.
lead the way once the car stopped to the place by the docks. It was specially booked for them and even a waiter was there to direct them.
wondered how she could get all this organised so quickly. It seemed like a last minute idea, and already so much was planned. It made her feel a little odd though having this much attention. She didn't know >
if it'd impact the evening.
miiiight have actually planned or she might have not. She didn't want the other to think about it but rather enjoy her time instead. " Like what you see so far?"
nodded her head, not speechless, but unable to speak at the moment. It still seemed like a lot to her, and wasn't the best with certain situations that are along the lines of what's going on. Even if it was >
only just a dinner they were to have.
thought it was fun and exciting, random even. They were seated at a table on the yacht and the waiter handed them the menus.
carefully looked through the items offered, her eyes going back and forth between a stir fry and pasta dish. She knew she liked stir fries from being in Japan so often, but she also enjoyed pasta from time >
went to with same lamb racks and a nice salad for the appetizer. She glanced over to the other after, " Is there any wine you would want in particular?"
finalized on the stir fry, with a simple bruschetta. She closed the menu and put it to the side before looking at the other. "A nice red wine would be good. I don't want something too bitter though."
nods as she had a small chat with the waiter taking their orders. He made a few suggestions before she went with one that went best with their food in her opinion.
leaned a faint bit back in her seat as she crossed a leg over the other to get more comfortable. She then leaned on the table, supporting herself up with her elbows with one hand fidgeting absentmindedly >
chuckles as she watched her, finding it amusing how the other seemed to react to the entire thing. " Enjoying yourself by any chance?"
shrugged her shoulders and slipped the strap on her dress further up her shoulder since it fell. "It passes the time until our food and wine arrive."
raised a brow and watched the waves of the water nearby. " Good. I want you to have a good night after all."
followed her gaze to the water, missing the sound and even smell of being in open water. She doubted she'd do this again for a while, though. Mostly because she had no reason to go on a boat.
thought the weather was starting to get better for more activities similar to what they were doing.
had to agree with her on that. She was getting antsy for the sun to come out more, so she could get her tulips back into competition.
thought was a good idea. She just liked the warm weather because it meant that she could bike around.
also hopeful and thankful for that. She liked keeping in shape mostly from biking, and she knew that once the streets were safe enough she'd be in pain the first few days. But it was always worth it to >
her. And she almost felt like a rather okay role model for her country.
thought Holly was a wonderful model, not just an okay one. She smiled when the food and drinks were served after. " Eat up."
sat up with her back straight, not wanting to be a sloppy eater. She waited for the food to be placed in front of both of them before grabbing a piece of her bruschetta and taking a small bite from it.
thanked the waiter as he poured the wine for them before moving to the side. She ate her salad first and glanced over to her after taking a bite of her own food. " How is it?"
put a hand under her mouth to catch any toppings that fell from the bread. She quietly chewed and swallowed her bite before responding. "It's good. You can always tell the quality of a restaurant by their >
starters, and this is made well. Fresh and colourful, just how it should be."
laughs and nods, " Its only the beginning~" She continued to eat, glad to hear the other was enjoying the food.
enjoyed her nights out since they were so few and rare in between. She took her time eating, since she wanted to savour the food as well as the flavour. She did use the napkin a few times to clean off her hand>
when food fell on it before she placed it back on her lap to protect her dress.
smiles as she finished her own food and sipped the wine. She glanced over to the other after. " Do you have any plans for the next month or so?"
cleaned off her hands once she had finished her first course, taking a tiny sip of wine to help it all down. "Not anything finalized. I don't generally have plans."
shrugs, " Mind if we hang out again then?" She smirked, leaning back on her seat and taking casual sips of her wine.
shook her head as she straightened her back against the chair again. "Not at all. We should go for all you can eat sushi, though. I know a good place with a weekly discount if we go Monday to Thursday, before >
3 for lunch. Dinner isn't that much either, if we go later though."
shifted forward a bit as the suggestion piqued her interest. " I'm all for it whenever we have time then." She liked those laces because she could try all sorts of food.
still had a taste for sushi even after all these years with visiting Japan. She also liked the health benefits that it gave her, and always liked it in the summer because it seemed to give her a lot more >
energy to work on her Spring cleaning and helping in all sorts of tulip harvests and festivals.
thought the vitamin D was good from fish. Then again, her own diet was mainly ruled by fish so she didn't notice at all.
got quite a bit of sun exposure just from working in the fields. She did have to worry about heat stroke, though. She at least wasn't lacking in any kind of vitamin D, thankfully.
guessed that was a good thing. She smiled when their main course arrived. " The food you order is always quite interesting."
moved a few obstacles out of the way before picking up the chop sticks and placing them in her hand as she let the food cool off a bit. "How is it more interesting than what you have?"
shrugs, " Lamb is delicious though and it goes good with the wine." She watched the other out of amusement.
didn't see how she could be amused. Putting that behind her though she started eating, trying to be as elegant as she could with noodles.
...thought that would be the hardest thing to ever accomplish.
had her hopes up nevertheless. She got them twirled around her chop sticks before quickly putting them in her mouth, having her other hand underneath to stop the noodles from falling. She had a few techniques >
just watched out of curiosity and amazement.
stopped her actions as she looked over to the other, wondering what was so amusing about watching her eat. She always got uncomfortable when she noticed people watching her.
shook her head as she smiles and went back to eating. She just thought it was cute.
would have blushed if she knew of the others thoughts. She didn't see how eating could be cute, if anything she thought it was unflattering. She continued to eat though, her eyes being cast over to the Dane >
every moment or two to make sure she wasn't being watched or judged.
seemed oblivious as she sipped her own glass of wine and ate. She was more into the atmosphere of things.
relaxed her body and let down her guard a little so she could really enjoy the food. It was of a higher quality than she normally had, and didn't mind at all. She took a break after she finished one third >
of her meal and leaned back with her glass on wine in her hand.
glanced over with a raised brow. " How's the food so far?" She put her own fork and knife down, curious about the other's opinion.
licked her lips to pick up some of the spices from the stir fry. "It's of good quality, that I know. The ingredients are fresh, and from locally grown gardens, or at least from nearby cities." She licked some >
sauce that had got on to her finger. "And it shows that the chef cares about the food they produce and send out."
chuckles, " It's your own capital after all. Quality is important to you isn't it?" She went back to eating after, glad to see that the other was enjoying the food.
picked up her chop sticks again as she nodded her head. "Of course. Quality over quantity, unless it involves money. Then things might change." She was very precise with keeping the quality good. She believed >
in fair trade, for the most part.
could tell for the most part. " Everything revolves around money after all~"
eyed her while she sipped up the last of her wine. "It is my style, after all." She licked her lower lip once she put her glass down and proceeded to finish off her stir fry.
laughs and nods, finishing her own food as well. She found things to be quite relax and poured more wine for her to enjoy.
liked to savour wine, especially when it was good. She circled her finger over the rim of the glass before sipping from it occasionally. "Do we have any plans for after this evening?"
thought for a bit and shook her head after. " Nej. Would you prefer I spent the rest of the evening with you?" She joked lightly.
shrugged her shoulders in silence. She wouldn't be against the idea, as she never got visitors as it were, and didn't always like to be alone. It some times got a little dangerous.
hoped visiting her meant a good thing after all. She knew when and when not to visit from all the times she came over when the rest of her family and Germany didn't want to hang out.
really did consider Dorthe one of her close friends, even if at times it didn't seem like that. She had very few to call her friends, anyways, and she didn't want to risk losing one. Even if Dorthe was just >
someone for her to comfort with, she'd like it.
shared the same sentiments seeing they had a lot in common. She was always happy to be considered Holly's friend too~
hadn't even minded it so much when Dorthe had that bit of a crush on her, though it was mostly because she liked the attention. She wasn't always treated the best, given her countries reputation, but she tried>
to be a good person. Though it only seemed to backfire, making her become the quiet person she was today.
didn't think it was a bad thing. She thought the other was still a good person despite all the years. She would know being friends with the Dutchwoman for so long.
glad that the other could read that from her, then. She finished off her wine and placed the glass on the table, beside her empty plate. She brushed her hand through her hair, making her hair a little lighter >
and to stop sticking to the sides and back of her neck.
nods to the waiter to serve up dessert as she relaxed more. She watched the other out of curiosity again before looking over to the sea. " The weather has gotten better lately, ja?"
peeked her interest at the sound of dessert being mentioned, a quick flick of her eyes over to the waiter before she looked out to the water like the other. "Thankfully. It means the tulips will be out soon, >
and with that, I'll be outside a lot more." This was about the only time she actually got out in the sun a lot, which tended to make her hair a brighter shade of blonde.
guessed it was a sight she wasn't going to pass up on. She meant mostly the flowers on that part. " More than enough of a reason for me to visit. It's a good sight aside from the sea."
would never get tired of tulips. Even if after every day she'd be exhausted when she went into her house she was always rewarded with the satisfaction that someone would buy and enjoy the flowers. And they >
were beautiful to look at.
thought it was a nice touch and thought of getting some whenever she visited.
might consider giving the other a discount, since she was her friend. Though, it depended on how sales went on that day. She lightly ran her fingers down the side of her leg, almost feeling that a fly was >
on her. She never liked when she was dressed up to be haunted by bugs. She got enough of that in the gardens.
would appreciate that a lit. She raised a brow at how the other was shifting, " You okay there?"
nodded and crossed her leg over the other, reverse to before. "Yes. Just get phantom bug feelings some times when I'm outside."
laughs at that, " Really? That's kinda creepy in a way."
shrugged as she got relaxed again. "It's something I'm exposed to everyday, so I'm use to it. I just don't want to deal with bugs in formal attire."
smirks as she sipped her wine, " We're by the harbor. I doubt they're be as may bugs compared to the fields."
glanced around their table, noting that there wasn't even a hint of any bugs around. "That is true, there is a lot less near water than when I work. But I still look out for them."
nods and smiles as the dessert arrived. There was an assemblage of sweets they could try.
let her eyes trail over the various amounts of desserts. She slowly reached out to grab a rich looking cake slice, unable to resist the look of it.
chuckles and tried the creme brulee. She thought it looked cute.
took a small part of the cake with her fork and brought it up to her mouth, keeping her hand under so no crumbs fell on her. She liked how rich the vanilla flavour was, and how moist it seemed to be. She >
really liked to analyse sweets and how they were baked and how much preparation was taken into account.
watched her and ate quietly as she seemed quite amused at how interesting that seemed. " It's just a slice of vanilla cheesecake Holly." She pointed out while laughing.
looked at her, not amused by that. Her green eyes quickly went back to eating her cake. "It's also food, and a treat at that. Treats are never to be taken lightly, as you don't know when you'll get the next >
one. So don't take it for granted. Or anything for that matter." To her it was much more than just dessert, it held a lot of meaning to her.
nods, knowing she would get that response from her frugal friend. She sighed and nods, " Or I can bake you some if you like next time?"
licked some icing off her lips as she went for another fork full of cake. "That would be nice. As long as it's not a constant gift." Even though she liked sweets she still got secretly self conscious about >
nods at that, " Alright, if you say so."
after a few more careful bites she finished off the cake and wiped her lips lightly with her napkin, not wanting to risk taking off too much make-up from earlier. She thought that cake had the perfect amount >
of sugar and fluffiness. She'd maybe go far even to say that she'd come back just for the cake.
sighs and just ate. There was still plenty of desserts for the other to try.
sucked on her index finger, removing the last traces of icing before going for a brownie sundae. She didn't always like ice cream, but since it was mixed with a warm brownie she decided to give it a try.
chuckled and finished up her own fill of desserts, leaving most of it for the other to try.
didn't want to waste any of the desserts, so she ate as much as she could, leaving a little bit for the other to taste if she so chose. She rested her hand on her stomach after, hoping she didn't get any >
indigestion from how much sugar she just took in. She was happy though to try so many things at once.
finished up what was left over as she smiled and ordered some tea and coffee to help with the digesting. " Full now?"
licked her lips as an indication. She let out a hefty sigh and tapped her fingers lightly on her stomach. "We can't do this every week. I'll get either diabetes, or gain weight."
[Sorry for the sporadic replies, I'm a little bogged down with work. ovo ]
laughs and nods as she relaxed contently. " Once in a while is fine." She felt content and full but not overly full.
stretched her arms up and over her head, quickly bringing her hand back down to cover her mouth as she yawned. "I'll need to have a long walk once we pay. If I keep sitting I'll fall asleep, and I don't feel >
safe or comfortable doing that in public."
nods as she nods to the waiter and paid for the bill before getting up. " Alright, let's take a nice walk by the harbour then."
carefully pushed herself back from the table before getting up, making sure to be slow so she didn't get any sign of vertigo. Once she was stable she nodded and headed off the yacht, a little glad to be on >
solid ground after. It made her drop some of her guard when she wore heels like this on unbalanced surfaces.
reached out and steadied the other as they were getting off. " Not used to heels anymore?" She joked lightly as she waited for the other to steady herself.
used the help just as a precaution. "It's not the heels I'm worried about. I just have a general sense of vertigo from getting up quickly while working on my flowers in the field."
raised a brow, " Odd I thought you would get over such a thing for working for so long for so many years on flowers." She noted as she started walking.
didn't really understand the situations herself. "I just know that it's not gotten better or worse. So I should be thankful of what I'm dealing with. It fades quickly enough to not become too troublesome."
nods slowly as she stayed at a good pace so the other could keep up. " That's a good thing I guess."
stepped away from the other and was able to hold her own, managing just fine now. She stretched her arms up above her head, hearing her back crack in a few spots. She needed some kind of massage, but that was >
always hard to deal with. "It is. If It had gotten worse I wouldn't have known what to do with my fields and gardens."
recognized the sounds as she lazily nodded while watching the other every now and then. " Like hell I would let you lay around and be useless." She smirked shaking her head. " Your place is too nice to not-
-visit during the Spring and Summer season. Gives me some time to not be in the rain like at home."
felt a little prideful at knowing her tulips really inspired people like that, and brought in tourism. She could always depend on it. "I doubt my brother would let me just lie around either. He's not called >
in quite a while. But, I know he's okay. He's been doing great these last few years."
laughs at that as she smirks, " Well, I'll be sure to give you a heads up if I see that rascal around." She was glad their sibling relationship has improved.
brushed a hand through her hair and looked to the sky. "Good. But if he starts going on about how I smoke, tell him I'll hit him." She was annoyed when he always mentioned that, especially because she knew >
nothing would happen to her.
sighs, " He's worried about you since you're his older soster after all. What's so bad about listening to him...once in a while perhaps?" She joked lightly as she winked to the other.
rolled her eyes at seeing the other wink in such a way. "He knows how I feel when people criticize my way of living. He should respect that." She did feel a little pressured by others opinions, but she never >
showed it openly. She had a hard enough time being liked.
hums along as she shook her head in response to that, " Well, knowing you I doubt you would careless for the most part even though you don't want to. Am I right?" She asked curiously.
didn't really want to reply to that, so she did what she normally did. She lit a cig and took a long drag from it while looking off into the distance, watching people pour into the streets and into buildings.
smirks, already knowing the answer and just continued on her merry walk with the other. She didn't need answers from the other for the most part seeing it was more of a mutual understanding in her opinion.
wouldn't explain herself even if the other didn't have that mutual understanding. Some times she didn't want to deal with people and explaining things, even if they were friends. She stopped walking after a >
while and looked around, admiring the lights and reflections from the glass on the windows and other reflective objects.
just figured things would be easier sometimes leaving it that way. She stopped as well and watched the other, smiling a bit as she waited for the other.
liked to take breaks and sight see, even if it was her own country. She would always get inspiration from it and didn't want to ever leave it. She started walking again, keeping her arms close to her sides.
smiles and stayed beside the other, " There's always a nice view around your homeland, ja?"
felt a bit of pride flare up inside when she heard that. "Of course. I make sure of it. If it wasn't for the land and my tulips, I'd most likely be struggling."
could tell from Holly's response. " It's more than just that if you think about it though. You used to be the richest country in the world with your trade company."
still proud about that fact, as well. "Yes. And even though I'm not the richest anymore, I'm at least well known for my trading style. And everyone knows the Dutch East India Trading company." The corner of >
her lips twitched up into a smirk. "No one messes with the Dutch."
snorts, " I guess I learned that the hard way huh?"
tried not to laugh at the others snort. "Yes. But at least you learned not to make that mistake again. I wouldn't be able to deal with idiots that continued to do the same mistake over and over again."
chuckles as she saw her expression. " I still have the scar from when you beat the crap out of me though. It's still not fun to remember that."
licked her bottom lip at the memory. "At least it's a good reminder for you to think back about. It helped both of us improve, really. How is the scar doing anyways? Stinging occasionally or do you forget >
about it until it's mentioned?"
gestured to her own back, "Sitting there along with the rest of them from all those other battles. They don't exactly sting unless its important."
paused in their walking to pick up some trash and throw it out, unable to help her OCD. "Good thing our battle reunions aren't something that overtakes the media, unlike other past battles for other countries."
rolls her eyes, "You should watch like America's movies. Plenty of silly reinactments there."
shook her head as she had issues with the media over glorifying such sensitive issues. She herself wasn't really offended by them, but she knew there had been occasions in the past where veterans or even >
historians had problems accepting the movies or shows. Unless it was a documentary she never watched them.
chuckles, knowing she should have expected that.
felt happy that they were having this long walk, since she was able to walk off the feeling of being full, and it was a slow, calm work out after such a delicious and large meal. "Are you going to stay over >
the night? If so, I should get home and prepare the guest room." She pulled out her pack of cigarettes and popped one into her mouth before striking a match and lighting it. "Unless of course you're more >
interested in sleeping in my bed."
thought for a bit, pondering about her choices. " It'll save me the time and money to get back home. As for sharing a bed, depends on your own preferences." She grinned to her.
shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "I do like the extra bed space to myself, even though I don't move in my sleep." She tapped the ash off her cig as she headed home. "As long as you don't cling and >
suffocate me I have no problem with it."
rolls her eyes, " Can't guarantee the former but suffocating you in my sleep is too hard when you kick me off of the bed."
brushed her hair lightly with her fingers as she passed the gate to her house. "I don't want to take any risks. I actually enjoy waking up in the morning instead of finding out I died for a few days."
laughs at that. " Its more likely for me to die compared to you though."
unlocked her door before walking in and delicately taking her shoes off. "Why do you say that?" She thought generally the chances of a nation dying was rare, and not so much more than another. Though she tried>
not to analyze ideas like that.
shrugs, " Older nations have higher chances really." She took her shoes off lazily. " Anyway, got extra clothes for me or do I have to pay or something?" She joked.
considered the benefits of charging the other, but let the moment pass as she stretched. "I'm sure I have some sort of clothing that will fit you. I can't promise it won't have any hint of Lolita though."
laughs and nods, " Alright though I would've still worn it."
headed off into the direction of her room to figure out what the other could wear. She didn't have too many sleeping clothes, but what she did have was nice and worth the extra little amount.
followed along in the meantime.
entered her bedroom and rummaged carefully through her dresser, pulling out a shirt and shorts for the other. They were light in colour with some frills and ribbons on them. "These will do, for you."
blinks and nods in acceptance. " Not bad..."
handed them over before going to the side of her bed near her closet. She turned her back to the other as she undressed. She hung her dress up before taking off her bra and slipping on a thin night dress >
went to just change on the spot out of laziness before washing up in the bathroom.
waited for her to finish since she wanted to wash all this make-up off her face. She would normally have a shower to get all the grease and grim from the day off, but she was already changed and preferred >
not to shower when she had guests. Mostly out of her own sense of comfort and privacy.
wouldn't mind bathing with the other for fun~ She was tired anyway so she wanted to sleep rather than play for once.
would have thrown something not of value at her if she had anything within arms reach. She liked her showers nice and intimate for herself, and no one else. Unless she was high, where then anything is possible.
wasn't in the mood to push it that far. She just got the bed and made herself comfy without taking up all of it.
went to the bathroom after and took her time making sure all her make-up was off. By the time she came back out her face was smooth and seemingly flawless, which made her happy. After checking to make sure >
all the doors and windows were closed and locked she slipped into her side of the bed, snaking her arm under her pillow before pulling the duvet just above her waist.
observed the rother before grinning mischieviouly and snuggled up against the other other of habit. " Tak~"
lifted her free arm up as she watched the other invade her personal space. She let it happen, though wondered if there was any particular reason she was this cuddly.
smiles contently seeing she just liked the other's company. She did consider the other to be part of her own big family.
rested her arm on the other in a comfortable manner so she could still sleep easily enough. She considered her a close friend, but she kept family and friendship different.
thought those important to her were part of her family.
didn't know how to respond with the information that she was like family to someone. She thought it was serious business, and wasn't sure how she felt about it since families generally fought.
did fight with her in the past if that counted.
knew that was true. They were like family then, she just never focused on the details as such. She did pair with Sweden at times in the past... now she thought that they could almost be related.
thought being about to do activities together with the other was nice overall. She was never pushy about details herself either.
thought there had been some times in the past where she was pushy, but not as frequently now. She started to feel the power of sleep take over her, making it impossible to keep her eyes open for long.
all snug and comfy as she fell asleep soon after.
waited to make sure Dorthe had fallen asleep before letting herself succumb to sleep.
