It's hard enough making decent trees... really burns me when I find trees ripped out of games on the marketplace.

they get comments like "Oh these are so fantastically made!" "Worth every penny!" great for the end user I guess. Sad thing is, can't really do anything about it, I guess. I'm not the game developer

Botanical: cliffs stuff for edges a big variety of loose rocks of all sizes that can be textured to match your land

Sounds good, Elysium! the new sim design incorporates a lot of cliff faces on one side, so that will be right in line with where I am going. MMm perhaps a nice breakwater with a path on it....

just remember to ofer options for costumization
for example i love yor ground textures and used them before but i love o experiment with them
and i love when i get shadow maps that allow me to do that
Cliff faces would be super cool, I agree. When I had a sim I would have loved that. Remember how the edges were at Miriel? Yeah.
everything will definitely be mod. I have some good ideas (well, seem like good ideas) to let people change textures but still keep nice things like shading and what not
I miss having a sim to landscape.
