smiles as she had finished serving up a few drinks and food at the cafe she worked at. There were lots of cats in it too.

went and picked his normal seat in the corner, rubbing his forehead.

laughs as a few cats flocked to him as she served him something to drink. She did consider him a bit of a regular. " Hey, how did it turn out broer?"

pet the cats as they came. "All I remember, is I'm not kicked out. Yet."

looks around as she make sure business was slowing before she sat down. " Hm? What do you mean? Did you make some sort of agreement?"

sighs. "All I remember is going, hearing him say something, but.. I don't know. I just know I'm not kicked out."

just nods along. " Well as long as you're able to stay, I think that its a good thing."

nodded. "I need to go back to the Engineering classes though."

smiles, " I think Dorthe mentioned something about that. She did mention that all the lesson plans and lecture slides will be sent to you as well."

groaned. "I don't want to deal with her or any of them anymore..."

pats his back after as she went to deal with the other customers. " Actually she pretty much admitted that she did everything for you and wouldn't be attending those classes as a result."

raises his brow. "... Really?" He didn't know why she'd be so 'nice' suddenly.

had no idea either but she head heard it when the other female was present during her shift. She went back to her broer's table after. " It's more like she doesn't have time now she's working on your project."

sighs. "Well what's the point in going to the classes if she's doing my project then?"

shrugs, " She's still an undergrad so she has to fulfill the credit requirement. As for your project, it's to make sure its moving along."

sighed and leaned back. "I could work on it if I had it. It's my work after all."

paused before taking out the keycard envelope from her apron and putting it on the desk. " Right. Dorthe said you would need this to access your office again. It might have_

_ an extra whiteboard and plushies in there though."

looks to her. "... She's taken over my office with plushies?"

shook her head. " She just said that she would leave them there so she could nap on the couch during late nights. " She smiles. " She loses sleep on a lot of things_

_ for spending so much time doing stuff for other people actually." She knew her friend did that a lot but put off a strong attitude to deter people from thinking that she was so nice.

rolled his eyes. "Well, she can remove them. It'll be my office once more." He put the keycard in his bag.

frowns, " Broer, that office is shared but she went out of her way to help you. Can't you at least just go and thank her?"

sighed. "Maybe.."

smiles and patted his arm as she went to clean up as her shift was ending soon. " Come on. Let's go there after then."

sighed some more and waited for her as he thought about being able to work on his project again.

came back a bit after getting her duties passed onto the other worker there and her apron removed. She had his bill covered and went to his table after. " Let's go now~ "

nods and got up, following her out.

started to head back to the university where the engineering faculty offices were. She was in a good mood, hopeful about the exchange.

happy to get control of his project again.

went to the door to his office and waited for him to open it up. She wasn't sure if the Dane was in the office.

used the card and sighed in relief when it allowed him in. He was glad to be back.

smiled widely at the sight. It looked a little messy from the last time she came her but there were even more equations on the board and a certain Dane asleep _

_on the couch. There were even hard to get books on the ground to avoid messing up the tables and desks.

twitched a bit and started to clean up, not mixing up anything though

smiles and went to quietly help up as to not awake her. She tapped on her broer's shoulder wondering why there were extra things on the board.

didn't know. He just assumed that she'd added to it.

figured as much but she wondered if it made sense and added any progress to his work. She just moved another blanket onto the Dane who seemed really worn out.

looked it over carefully. He didn't want to mix up any data.

figured that was the reason for the white board that started from where he left off. It was really well explained and written in her point of view. Well Elise hoped it did from Dorthe's rant the other day.

agreed with some of the stuff, but others not so much...

guessed at least the two seemed to agree on something. It took a lot out of her just to get Dorthe to be nice...

took a marker of a different colour and added some extra notes onto the Danes, not messing up hers but adding some possible theories or data he knew of.

smiles as she went over to him, " I'll go get some refreshments so you can work on it and in case Dorthe wakes up." She left the room seeing they seemed to be okay.

nodded, figuring the Dane was fine where she was. She didn't trash the place as much as he had thought.

shifted slightly in her sleep, clutching the plush in her arms. It was a rather old and worn out miffy doll surprisingly. She actually didn't change anything besides bringing in more books for reference.

wondered why she'd have a miffy plushie.

had it as a gift from someone and kept it with her all her life. She did start to stir when she heard the sounds of movement. It was her cat pawing at her face.

had left the window open as it liked to stay around her. It was the same cat as before that she left in care with his sister. " Hm? Schrödinger, I'm up already." She laughs wholeheartedly while_

glanced over to her. "Please make sure the cat doesn't get on any of the papers. I don't want anything to be crumpled."

stopped midway in her conversation with the cat. She was about to respond him but instead said nothing and kept the cat close to her as she put away the miffy plush.

continued to write on the white board.

just cleaned up her own things and wrote a bit in her journal. She just prepared to leave after knowing how he would react whenever she was around.

"Some of this is very helpful. Some things you wrote, that is."

nods as she glanced at the board briskly. " The main problem was that you focused on what you could only do instead of what you couldn't do." She pointed out the problems he had and how she remedied it.

nodded. "Ja. I was too focused on this idea..." He added a few more things, getting back into the movement of it.

grabbed a marker and added a few more things to improve on the idea he had just been going on about on the board.

found it almost like a game as she had took sometime to think about what he added before adding another contribution.

continued to work off of what she had added, as well as extending his own thoughts from before.

corrected any mistakes he made before following up. She grabbed a few books for references, making sure they were correct.

ran his hand through his hair as he kept scanning over the data. The few days rest had really made him rethink what he was doing.

put her marker down after when she heard a knock on the door. She let Elise in, guessing she was here to visit too.

continued to woke, unable to be taken away now.

smiles when she saw that and brought in some tea and snacks she made hence why she took so long. " He's back on track again huh?" She noted as she set the food and drinks onto the coffee table.

pretty much drowned them out as he worked, getting really into it again.

went over to edit it one in a while to ensure he wasn't making any mistakes. She added some extra contributions for him to see more possible paths they could take.

went to entertain the cat as she didn't want to distract them. She was surprised in how well her broer and Dorthe worked together.

found that when she was working with him he didn't mind her. It was whenever she talked out against him in public.

critical and straight forward to the people she didn't like. She had to paused him however as he seemed to be trying to force a conclusion. " That should be enough for today to think about."

shakes his head. "More..."

growls as she grabbed his hand, " Enough is enough. You're going to screw yourself over if you don't give yourself time to think about what you've covered."

frowns and shakes his head. "I can go longer." His mind was on track right now and he didn't want to forget anything.

tightened her grip, " Put it on a piece of paper to evaluate then. I have a good idea of what you're thinking and its not right. I can even show you the work I've done."

just put the marker in his other hand and continued writing on another thought he had.

rolls her eyes and grabbed his other hand despite how awkward it was. " I said stop already." Her voice rising a bit.

frowned as he kept his eyes on the board, mentally writing down things in his mind.

sighed at that, " Come on. You've been at it for several hours already. A small break would be nice..."

frowns. "But I have so many ideas...."

pulled him to where the couch was. " They be wrong if you overthink it and force something that is not true."

sighed and just grabbed his sketchbook, writing down the rest of his ideas, taking up a few good pages.

let him be and went to nibble on a few snacks while relaxing with Elise and the cat.

didn't want to stop writing things down now. He got too into work some times.

thought it was a bit dangerous really...

snapped her fingers in his face a few times. " Hej. Your sister said she has a new boyfriend. Something about a Spanish guy."

broke the tip of the pencil off as he slowly looked over to her.

raised a brow at that reaction. " Now that I have your attention..." She took away his sketchbook to edit while he could talk to his sister.

made a sound and grabbed it, clutching it in his arms. He didn't like anyone touching let alone taking away his sketch book.

stared for a moment before sigh and getting up. " I've had enough with your amnesiac bullshitYou've always been like this." She was fed up with being nice and patient. She just picked up her bag and left after.

frowned a bit. He wasn't going to keep working, he was just protective over his sketchbook...

took it offensively considering how rude he had been to her. Not once did she really spit out an insult to him and all the wanted to do was make sure he was on the right path.

appreciated all the work she had done, and the new ways in which he could think.

didn't take it that way from his reaction. She pretty much just went back to reading and working away.

sighed quietly and put the sketchbook on his lap, looking over to his sister. "So, boyfriend?"

smiles and nods. " Well were still friends."

glares at her.

blinks at that, " What's wrong?"

"You know I don't approve of Spanish people."

frowns at that. " But why though? He''s not really my boyfroend yet but he's a wonderful person."

nods a little. "They're a sly sort of race that don't work worth their efforts."

played with the cat idly, " He hasn't done anything of that sort."

huffs. "I still don't trust him..."

sighs, " It's not like you'll trust anyone with anything in the first place. Did you even apologize or thank Dorthe for what she did for you earlier?"

shakes his head a bit. "I was too lost in thought... I don't even really remember her leaving..."

sighs as she just started to clean up the cups and food. " It's cold of you to do that broer, even if you don't remember her." She pointed out.

sighed. "It's not my fault I forgot..."

shook her head, " You've forgotten so many important things before. Even my birthday once, broer..."

frowned at that. He did feel a little bad for everything...

sighs as she sat down next to him. " Do you still have the photo album with you? If you want, I can explain the stuff in there."

nods a little. "I grabbed the key before I went to the cafe too..."

smiles knowingly, " The choice is up to you."

nodded as he took the book out, as well as the key and undid the lock.

watched, kind of glad that he did that. " Mom kept them safe here in case you ever wanted to look back."

started flipping through them, feeling awkward as he didn't remember anything.

looks over to him, " A lot of these were when we lived in Denmark for a while before moving back to where Grandpa and Grandma lived."

nodded at that as he continued to flip through the book.

pointed out a few things for him. " This was the old house we lived in. There weren't a lot of flowers so we planted a lot with our neighbor. Dorthe lived next door to us at that time."

winced a bit as he put his hand up to his scar. This was all giving him a headache.

frowns as she noticed, " Is it acting up again?"

nods as he closed one eye while still trying to focus on the images. "I-it hurts..."

puts a hand on his arm, " Just be careful, broer." She was worried about him passing out like he tried once.

trying to push himself. He flipped a few more pages, starting to get a little dizzy.

nods and tried to explain the pictures as best as she could. A few of Dorthe started to pop up too but it was usually of her and the Dane. The ones that had her broer as well had him fixated on the two girls.

cursed and eventually had to just push the book back, holding his head in his hands after.

caught the book as she tried to calm him down. " Broer, are you okay?" She was quite worried now.

nods as he bit his lip, closing his eyes and trying to take slow deep breaths.

rubbed his back, " I'll go get some water for you, so stay put." She was worried about him passing out and left the room in a hurry, bumping into the Dane that had left something in the room.

nodded to that and kept his hands on his head, not knowing anyone that was around. He was trying to focus on something just to keep his mind from blanking out.

had planned on getting her books but gave a sigh instead. She sat down next to him and pulled him down to rest his head on her lap. She covered his eyes with her hand_

_ and stroked his hair lightly while humming a faint lullaby. She was only doing this because Elise was her friend...

didn't even realise it was the Dane and gave in without any resistance. He brought up a hand, putting it over hers which was covering his eyes. He was still trying to breath normally, but felt a bit better.

treated him like a child, humming softly in a motherly fashion to get him to calm down. She wasn't going to be too please with the look on his sister's face with the fact that she came back and helped him out.

slowly calmed down, his breathing going back to normal. He loosened his hand on hers, though didn't remove it.

didn't budge from her spot and kept to her task of humming a gentle song and stroking his hair lightly. She wasn't sure what to make of the fact his hand was ontop of hers and that it was a lot bigger.

started mumbling quietly in Dutch, mostly about how he hated not remembering and how he felt so lost some times.

replied to him quietly in the same tongue after a while that it wasn't a bad thing and he could always make new memories in the future with the people around him.

frowned faintly when he noticed that wasn't his sisters voice. "Who...?" He didn't want to removed his hand, almost in fear that the headache would get worse.

paused at that before shifting to removing her hand but keeping his eyes covered with his own. " Someone you don't need to remember." She replied calmly, thinking she should leave.

frowned more and kept her hand over his eyes. He wasn't going to let her go that quickly.

seemed rather taken back but didn't budge after. She kept quiet after, stroking his hair with her other hand that was free to help him keep calm.

took a few deep breathes, getting more relaxed. His headache soon started going away.

watched and kept quiet to not distract him. She did wonder where his sister went off to seeing the water fountain or the vending machine wasn't that far...

starting to question it now since he was getting better.

heard a sound from the door but she couldn't get up to open it with him on her lap. She had a good feeling his sister might have been there the entire time during the exchange.

didn't really care. He swallowed slowly before letting go of her hand carefuly.

looked away as she removed her hand slowly away from his face. It was weird to her for doing all of this really...

sighed quietly as he slowly sat up, rubbing his hand through his hair a few times. "... Dank u."

nods and shifted away. She got up after to collect her books to leave. She opened the drawer and put some medication on the coffee table after in case he needed it.

watched her leave, not bringing his head up fully though.

let his sister in seeing she was apparently locked out. The two exchanged some words before the Dane left for good.

kept his hands in his lap after, not wanting to look up at anyone.

smiles faintly and put the water infront of him. " Are you feeling better now?"

nods a little as he took a few sips. "A little..."

looks at the photo album after before locking it up. " I think we should head back now." She glanced out the window. " Its getting late."

sighs a little. "I was going to try and work some more..."

frowns, " There's tomorrow to do that even though the university is closed. The cafe is pretty quiet at that time if you want to work there instead."

nods a little. "That might be best then..."

smiles and hugs him, " Well, I'm sorry to say this but I gotta run ahead. You know the security guard and their curfews.If you need to contact me, just call me okay?"

nods as he leaned into her hug. "Ja. I'll just be going back to my room now anyways..."

waved to him before she went to the door, " Alright, take care then and make sure you take good care of that album. I'll give you a call when I get back just because!" She smiles once more before heading out.

nodded in response to that and took his time packing up, being careful with the album. He slowly headed back to his dorm once he had everything closed and turned off.
