Ohh yeah. I've heard of it. Some are nice, but they lean a bit on the creationist / literalist / conservative side of things.

Our normal church is interfaith, so Jesus is just part of the cast.

I think it could be fun. They're a bit New Agey (they call themselves New Thought), but hey - a church that welcomes baptists and atheists is bound to be interesting.

I'd love to check that out.

The Unitarian church was like that for a very long time, and are still better than most.

It was the bet. Absotively. They have decided to do more jesus stuff now in order to get more people and their money in the door.

We visited the local Unitarian church years back. Nice folks, but they were downright phobic about the word "God." That bugged me.

It was said that the only time you ever heard the word Jesus is when the minister tripped on his way to the podium...
