had her nose shoved in a book as she walked down the halls, walking headlong into the blond girl.
had her eyes focused on the ground, not realizing the other was near. When she was hit by the other she made a quiet sound, accidentally dropping her books. She hadn't had a tight hold on them in the first >
accidentally crushed the book to her face, knocking her glasses to the ground, she looked a little shocked. "S-sorry." she said quickly, bending to both start picking up the books and feel around for her
glasses. The books, even blurred were easy enough to spot to collect. Not her silver frameless glasses, though.
watched her gather the books, but knew she would have some difficult finding the glasses. She noticed they were off to the side and picked them up, lightly touching them against her hand so she knew where to >
grab them. She stayed quiet for this time.
looked toward the glasses, and then her. "T-thanks." She took the glasses and slipped them on, holding out the dropped books to the other girl. "Sorry 'bout walkin into y'.."
took her books back, seemingly making sure that their hands didn't make any contact. "It's fine..." She said quietly, not even making eye contact. She was always awkward around people.
noticed she hadn't picked up a last book, that was open. It was a sketch book. She bent and picked it up, her eyes lingering on the drawing. "Ah.. Y' draw?" She asked quietly.
glanced to the side as she gathered up that book, merging it with the rest in her arms. She nodded her head lightly as she pulled her books closer to herself. "J... ja. I'm in art here."
nodded a little. "Ahh y'er really good." She said from the one picture she saw. "'M Astrid."
shyly brushed some hair from her face to behind her ear. "... Da-... thank you." She shifted from foot to foot lightly. "I'm Angelien."
's face went a little blank. Wow. This girl was really pretty, especially when she blushed like that. "Y'er very pretty if y' don' mine me sayin." She couldn't hold back that compliment.
shied behind her books a little more, her cheeks getting more red. She wasn't use to a compliment, at least a true one like that in this setting. "T-thank you..." She was starting to feel a little awkward >
and uncomfortable in this setting, since they were just in the hallway and in public.
flushed a bit, she realized she must have made the other feel awkard. "A-ah.. 'm sorry 'bout that. I just.. Um.. Ja sorry.." She didn't mean to say it, and now she felt a little dumb.
brushed some hair behind her ear again, it starting to become a nervous habit of hers. "It's... it's okay. I'm just not use to compliments like this." She was still a little insecure to look the other in the >
shifted and adjusted her glasses. "A-ah.. Do y' want t' go for a coffee or somethin'.. As 'n apology."
looked the other over quickly, guessing that she wasn't a threat. "I only drink tea. But I guess both are offered at the cafes here... So, sure."
smiled a little and nodded. "Ja.. I like tea better.. So um do y' have class right now?"
shook her head as she kept her books close to her body still. "No, I was just utilizing the studios they had here. It's hard to work on a wall sized canvas in the dorm rooms they have here."
laughed a little and nodded. "Ja that's true." She started to head to the cafe they had on campus. "The dorm rooms are pretty small.'
looked at the ground as she walked, mostly out of habit. "It's suitable for me, but not for my art."
nods to her. "Ja.. I don' have 'nyone else in m' dorm though, so 's nice."
took a turn to get into the cafe at the school and headed over to where the drinks were. She put her belongings down on a table that was close before getting a mug of green tea.
paid for her tea before Angelien could dispute it. She got herself a tea as well before sitting down
pouted her lips lightly at that, though wouldn't say anything. She was secretly happy that she didn't have to pay for it, since it meant she could save it for another time or for something else. She went back >
to the table where her belongings were and sat down as she watched the other female.
tapped her bottom lip for a moment, debating on something sweet. She did have quite a sweet tooth.
might have considered getting a muffin, but she didn't want to pay for it, or anyone else for that matter. She felt awkward if someone bought her too much in a little amount of time, not matter how small the >
bought a muffin and a two cookies, she brought them over to the table. "Here. I wasn' sure what y'd want."
frowned behind her drink. "I didn't ask for anything though. Tea enough was good for me. I really wasn't expecting this much of a treat." She did feel a little embarrassed, feeling almost like she was mooching.
shook her head. "I know y' didn', but I wanted t' get y' somethin. I don' mind." She didn't think that she was mooching or anything.
stirred her tea to make sure the sugar didn't collect at the bottom. She kept looking at the muffin before having to move her gaze. "What do you do here...?"
"Oh 'm in the computer 'nd technology d'partment. Y'er 'n art student, ja?" She aimlessly stirred her tea, she couldn't help but admire how pretty this girl was.
took a small, quiet sip from her cup to test if the tea was how she liked it, and thankfully it was. "Yes. I've only ever been in the arts, but I know a little bit about technology."
raised an eyebrow. "Really? Like what?" She was genuinely curious about what she knew. "I don' know much 'bout art.. I can't draw t' save m' life." She smiled a little.
curled the corners of her lips at that as she drank a bit more of her tea. "Well, I know how to put one together... but I don't really know any of the mechanics. I just have a photographic memory that tells me>
where each piece goes back... I use to work on a lot of puzzles in the past."
nodded. "Y' have a photographic mem'ry? That's re'lly awesome. I wish I did." She was very amazed by that fact honestly.
placed her tea on the table lightly. "Yes. I can leave this room and recall every detail."
aghast. "That's amazin..!" She didn't mean to actually make an amazed face, she flushed a little. "Sorry."
giggled quietly as she looked down. "It's just a talent I've always had... it's been quite helpful for my art."
