Don't be surprised to find an algebra question or two at that age. I was shocked by it when my girls were that age.

We home schooled our girls and I was very surprised at how early some of the concepts came up.

Yes my son in 3rd grade has all kinds of fraction equations and stuff I can't even help with. They have to learn a lot of things earlier.

I was surprised in 1st grade that he did multiplication and thought great she would slow down as 2nd & 3rd comes around,but she has been above grade level in math I was a little shocked... thanks guys
