It would only show up publically if they answered said ask, I believe.
Which, being contact information, I would assume they would not reply to.
The ask is in the layout, but since we don't have a lot of content yet, it won't scroll down to show it on the left. In Chrome at least.
We won't reply to any of the asks, so you don't need to worry about info getting out.
