I wasn’t aware we had these birds here. They are about 800 miles from where I’d expect them.

I didn't think they traveled that far north.

I don’t think that I’ve ever seen any here. But there is a “Pelican Island” in the Mississippi near here. The river has lots of seagulls.

We don't have many white pelicans here. We have almost all brown pelicans.
