I got a phone call last night that our first dog was dead, he had developed a serious infection and possibly cancer and they just had to put him down.

And so I stayed up the whole night until nearly 9am just talking to my sisters about him, about how it went down, and about how things have been.

For reference, I moved out of my family's house and live with my grandparents. I assist them with stuff around the house while I'm finishing the last year and a half of my BS.

It's been a long time since I've last seen him, the dog, and I almost didn't know how to feel at first.

Now I'm just really tired, despite having slept nearly 9-ish hours and I don't really know what to do.

D: I'm so sorry, losing a pet is really hard. Won't say that it'll get any easier since I still miss my first dog but... I hope you're able to find your peace with it.
