haha I can only recommend the park because that's the only place we stopped at when we drove through

japantown is also really nice
He's Japanese actually so he was excited to hear about Japantown when I told him cherry blossom festival sounded like a party to me. And the first picture he pointed to was from muir woods!
He also asked about beaches but CA isn't my home island so pfft.
