The premise on this episode was a bit weak. Why would a normal guy go through all that trouble to train hunters (sacrificing humans) and why would a vamp work with a hunter who is training humans to kill vamps?

Doesn't really hold up under a bright light, does it?

I really like her. And I kinda wish Chrissy was going to live with Garth, because that would be all kinds of awesome

Chrissy living with Garth would be a goldmine!

Yeah. That was an awesome line! Sounds like Jensen was battling a cold during this episode. He sounded more nasally than usual. Poor guy.

But kinda sexy. Just sayin'.

I like the idea of Garth being their "Bobby." A spin off could be cool!

One other thing about tonight's ep that bugged me- Maybe it's just the pragmatist in me, but my brain was screaming BS when they were saying the kids would

stay in the house and the girl was going to turn 18 soon so it'd be OK.

No, it will not be OK! There's a relentless stream of bills that pile into your mailbox every month that have be paid or else.

How are these kids going to pay utilities, groceries, mortgages, and every other bill? That's just sooooo unrealistic!

I liked it. Loved the exchange between Crissy and Dean at the end. But I was bothered by that too Met! I was thinking "Is the house paid for?", "Did the guy have a will, money?"

Maybe they have inheritances?

I think it's called massive plot contrivance!

Even though the episode was fun, there were lots of "contrivances." Oh well.

Yeah, probably best not to overthink this one. I'll just focus on Garth as a den master of this little group and giggle at that image.

Really enjoyed the episode. Loved having snarky Crissy back. But Dean having Garth check on them? Should he pick someone, oh, I don't know, maybe a little more mature than they are?
