knocks lightly on the other's office door, adjusting his tie.
glanced up from his reading and looked to the clock on his wall to check the time, he wasn't supposed to have any meetings till later on. "Come in."
walks in, placing a stack of paperwork on his desk. "Are you too busy?" he inspects the place a bit, keeping a minimal smile.
frowns at Gabriel and shrugs a bit as he looked at the paperwork. "I will be in a bit."
laughs. "Oh, c'mon!" he rolls his eyes, sitting on the edge of the table. "Care to join me in a coffee break? Or cigarette break, if you wish...."
raised a brow at that and glanced pointedly at his pile of work. "Fine..."
stands up then, opening the door and whistling at him. "After me, Inglaterra!" he hums, waiting for the other to follow as he makes his way out.
frowned again and followed him out of his office. "So to what do I owe this visit?"
places one hand on his pocket, leaving the other out, dangling a bit. "Do I need a reason now?" He raises an eyebrow, then chuckles. "I haven't had news from you, wanted to see if you had finally turned into_
a teabag. Thank God you didn't..."
followed him through the rest of the office building and out onto a small patio they had. He fished through his own suit jacket pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and tapped one out offering the pack to
raises both eyebrows at that, but thanks him anyway. "I.. always though you hated smoking." He hums, smiling as he lights up one of his own and hands the pack back. "What got you into it?"
stares at him as he tucked the pack away and found his lighter. "I've been smoking for years, goes to show how much you know about me."
rolls his eyes at the sarcasm, offering him his own lighter. "Here, you can use mine."
glanced at the offered lighter and rolled his eyes ans he put the cigarette between his lips and took the lighter using it and taking a few drags before handing it back.
smiles. "Don't roll your eyes back at me..." He teases, taking it back and pocketing it. "So, there's a codfish engraved.. I know many men with worse engravings on the lighters." He huffs.
doesn't say anything to that as he shifted to lean against the rail of the patio, taking a few long drags and exhales. "You can't be here just to say hi."
looks down. "Well, I am..." He bites his lower lip, then runs his hands over his own hair in silence. He tries a smile, but it's a bit awkward, so he just takes a long drag and looks at the other. "Alright, I_
worried too... I have this bad habit of caring, you got me there."
shifted his focus elsewhere as he took another drag on his smoke. "I see," he glanced over at him as he tapped the ashes off. "I appreciate the thought."
nods. "Yeah, that's.. it." He hums, focused on smoking. There's a coffee shop next street, he can see from a distance. "Your son showed up at my place the other day, too..."
paused at the mention of a son and he furrowed his brow. "Which one?"
hums. "William. He just wanted cake..." He laughs. "And coffee... you'd think the boy's never had biscuits and coffee before, but he looked healthy."
frowns but nods, "I see... that's good then."
smiles a bit. "No need to frown so much either, no one killed or offended no one..."
wasn't thinking anything along those lines.
smiles a little. "And I didn't imply you never gave him those either... I guess I just have a soft spot for the boy." He reaches over, taking the brit by the wrist. "Now, you did agree to join me for coffee,_
so get to walking!" He beams, dragging the other off with an amused smile.
started at him until his wrist was grabbed then he stumbled along for a few steps before yanking his wrist free. "Don't tug me along, I'll come."
blinks at that, smile falling off his face as he simply shoves his hands into his pockets, going serious and cold as he nods and walks. Honestly, the nerve of that man...
just wasn't interested in the physical contact... he followed along though keeping to himself for the most part.
