breezed past him, clearly in a good and happy mood as she followed her kitten. She had attended a meeting in the same office earlier and was on break. She let her kitten roam around seeing it was bored.
shook his head, figuring she was here for business. He finished some documents before going outside, wanting to see how the festivities were going.
didn't even notice him at all as she paid attention to the kitten who went outside, liking the sunshine. All she did was follow the cat and keep it out of trouble.
hoped she'd keep a close eye on it, since more people were outside compared to normal.
had no idea of what was going on but she picked up the small kitten into her arms to avoid it from being stepped on. She look at the cat, wondering if it had wanted to bring her outside to watch.
wasn't surprised that she didn't know what day it was. It's not like she cared about the people or anything.
didn't care about him for a matter of fact. As for the holiday, she just smiled and went back inside since the cat didn't like loud noises.
glad for that, because he didn't want her to ruin the atmosphere. He nodded as people talked to him as he passed by, watching as others cheered a bit and just overall had a fun time.
felt that he was the one ruining the atmosphere from his constant hate towards her. She finished her work and let the kitten roam around again outside in a safe spot where there were less people.
wasn't ruining any mood. He was rather happy at this time.
found that extremely creepy for a shut in like him.
spent a few times out in the public when he was needed or appreciated.
shook her head, finding it rather displeasing for the eyes. She was much more happier keeping to herself and her cat than pay attention to someone as lame as him.
wondered why she was still focused on him then while he was wandering the city.
wasn't. It was rather annoying people constantly pointed him out like a sore thumb rather.
couldn't help that people noticed him being around on a day like this. It wouldn't ever happen again, so he had to make the best of it.
still thought it was gross and unappealing how people swooned over him. She spent her time enjoy the free beer she got while playing and feeding her kitten.
didn't get why people swooned over him. Soon enough though he had had enough socialising and headed home for the day, having taken some documents to finish when he got home.
would had her amusement and shook her head as she played with the kitten. She had finished her work and meeting for the day and wondered about what to call it.
think that if she was done work she should go home. After all, she hated this place.
didn't think he should be so quick to judge. She hated him and his representation of it. Everything else she was fine with because it was Holly too.
didn't even know of the other Netherlands around, but wondered why she didn't go bother her instead of always seeming to bump into him.
didn't intend to bump into him. It wasn't her fault when she had things to do there.
thought maybe they could find a way where she wouldn't have to work around him.
didn't want to collaborate or strike any deal with him.
thought it'd be helpful if it involved her not seeing him.
didn't care about him for the matter or even bother to notice since he wasn't significant in her life.
thought she should take into account the day at least, or just get out.
thought he was rather caring for someone who insisted on not trying to care about her and what she did. She hadn't done anything wrong and was actually enjoying the festivities for Holly's sake.
more so just wanting to get more money in the economy. He was even going to celebrate by having a beer at his favourite pub that night, but only once he finished his work.
kept the kitten entertained as she did some work at the office she wouldn't be here so much unless her boss needed her to.
thought work was more important than entertaining a pet. He didn't even know why she had a pet with her at work... it seemed so immature.
thought he was the immature one if he was easily irritated about an animal that was actually behaving. She couldn't leave the kitten at home alone or locked up in a cage as she was as heartless as some people.
didn't believe in cages either, but still had his own ways of treating animals. He worked for a few hours at home before heading out to the bar, wanting to just get a quick drink before leaving.
blinked as she was invited out with the other people in the office to join them for happy hour. She didn't exactly mind since she was done her work.
got to the bar and ordered his beer before finding a place near the corner to drink it. He observed everyone else, glad they were having fun.
smiles as her coworkers seemed to like the kitten. She sat down at one of the booths, not even noticing him as she was keeping an eye on the kitten while chatting.
could tell she was around but ignored it while he sipped at his beer. He just wanted to oversee everything.
kept the kitten on her lap as she drank and relaxed. She was much more outgoing and easily brightened anyone's day since they seemed a bit down for missing out some of the festivities due to work.
a little glad that she was helping them to get happy, though he knew they'd be happy eventually regardless.
doubted the last part from how exhausted and worn out the people looked.
knew it was bound to happen. His people always got happy during celebrations.
still a bit skeptical about how happy they really were. She shook her head at that and just drank her beer slowly, taking her time with it.
did much the same, not wanting to waste the taste of Heineken. It always tasted so rich to him.
would find it completely creepy and weird he was copying her. The beer was commercial and widely distributed so it wasn't that great compared to the darker ales she had drank.
wasn't copying her at all. He was drinking at his own pace, and he always preferred this to any other brand.
would still find him quite disturbing for liking the generic commercial brand. There were much better options really.
liked it because it was Dutch. And it never failed him.
didn't find that such a good reason just because of where it came from. It was widely distributed that its origin wasn't so significant anymore.
still didn't care about what she thought of.
...would highly doubt that if he made a comment in regards about everything she did.
... just quietly drank in the corner, almost done his drink. He'd be gone soon enough.
enjoyed her time, raised a brow when she heard some people starting to get rowdy especially picking fights in his area. Oh joy.
walked over to those that were fighting and gave them a light smack on the head and a glare, saying that this was no day to be fighting.
saw that and seemed amused as he was clearly ignored.
mumbled quietly and just finished his beer before dragging them outside.
watched as they just started a fight regardless of who he was. She knew this wasn't going to end well.
used to dealing with fights. He dodged hits as he pushed them outside, telling them in Dutch again that this was no time to fight. It never occurred to him that they didn't understand Dutch, though.
would wonder if they were just tourists and they completely misunderstood him which lead to more provoking, more fighting annnnd pretty much a brawl. She just looked over from her seat, amused simply.
sighed and shook his head, not wanting to deal with tourists. He just left them be, not caring what happened since they weren't Dutch.
shook her head as they still fought though more so attacking him because of how rude he was.
blocked their attacks, not wanting to get into a fight with them. They would get tired sooner or later.
played with her kitten getting bored of whatever was going on as her coworkers seemed a bit nervous. She went leave after, breezing past him with a_
_ knowing smile as she had a curt conversation with the males and they left soon after realizing the misunderstanding.
glared at her and huffed before heading off into the city again. He needed some time to himself by his tree.
didn't even notice him as she went to go relax in the fields. She figured to at least let Holly know she was around.
hoped she'd stop harassing him now and harass her...
hadn't done anything to him and she didn't have any idea as to why he cared about what she did or say. He was such a creeper.
wasn't a creeper and wanted her to stop using that word. He just got to his willow tree and planned to ignore everyone and everything now.
thought that he was quite obsessed with all the things she did.
just found her irritating.
could tell but with an extra side of creepy obsessive emphasis he had with insisting he didn't care about her.
ignored her and just put his hand on the tree to help calm himself down.
wasn't technically even nearby him if he ever decided to pay any decent attention. Seriously, the more he insisted that he was ignoring her, the less he really was.
still knew she was around since he always knew when another nation was in his boarders.
hadn't done anything to get in his way or bother him. Actually she hasn't done anything wrong for so long and he was still against her for no particular reason.
breathed slowly and closed his eyes. He was relaxing now. No distractions around or anything.
followed her kitten as she let it explore. It mewled quietly but never strayed too far from her.
sat down and leaned against the tree after, crossing his arms and lowering his head as he rested.
walked right past him as the kitten climbed right onto his lap. She just looked around, waiting for the kitten to show up.
jumped a little at the sudden startle from the kitten. He just sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
still looking for the kitten as it pawed at him. It seemes to want to cheer him up.
lightly gave it pets, keeping his eyes closed. He was in a more relaxed state now.
eventually found it but seeing the state he was in, she kept her distance to where the kitten could find her. Kara seemed happy as it played with his hand.
had his other hand resting on his stomach as he breathed in deeply. He barely noticed he was petting the cat, just getting more relaxed from the purring of it.
|Kara nuzzled him as she patted down on his hand and sat there sleepily.
lightly put his other hand down, starting to fall asleep finally.
waited quietly for him to finish napping as she wanted her cat back but Kara had fallen asleep too. She simply sighed, pulled a book out to read and waited.
figured as long as she didn't wake him up she could take the cat.
couldn't exactly get her kitten back if it was buried warmly in his scarf. She didn't want to touch him since he probably had some weird disease or something.
... would get mad if she touched his scarf. The cat was lucky enough he was asleep.
didn't want to touch him if he hadn't been paying attention. As for her kitten, it buried itself firmly under his scarf on his shoulder.
woke up slightly but kept his eyes closed as he tightened his scarf around his neck.
gave a faint whistle the kitten recognized and popped its head out from under the scarf, sitting between his neck and the scarf. It was an amusing sight.
shivered a bit at that and work up, mumbling quietly as he pulled the cat lightly from the spot.
whistled again as the kitten went over to her. She picked it up as she merely smirked at how defenseless he seemed and went towards to city again.
generally wasn't bothered when he was in this state, so he had no reason to have his guard up.
thought it was still not a good idea. She petted the kitten and went on her way home once she had retrieved her stuff from the office.
had nothing to be afraid of, so he let himself rest when he wanted.
