In hindsight, I wish I had thought to just put extra little wedges and other shapes in there, but alas.

Were they inspired by skyrim? Actually no. Alcove walls like this are all over the world.

Im not even really sure. When all the drama was going on, I guess my name came up to one of the organizers. I dont know who said it, I dont care.

And I heard someone say something at the live auction as well, which.. I mean I love Skyrim, (I loved it enough to know exactly what they were referring to)

This all came up during a discussion/debate about inspiration versus blatant copying.  I didnt find out until this morning that my name was coming up as someone who might have ripped content.

funny how your walls look NOTHING LIKE the ones in Skyrim. wtf is wrong with people? Skyrim has log cabins, too. this doesn't mean every log cabin in SL was inspired by Skyrim.

Part of it is likely an offshoot of all the work that HAS been ripped/copied from Bathesda though

They were really reaching by claiming your alcove walls were from Skyrim. Now Pixlights Factory is a blatant content ripper, and I can't believe how their stuff hasn't been yanked from the Marketplace yet.

There's a few other places (on the video game topic) on Marketplace that've obviously ripped straight from the game guts for Mass Effect apparel. It's ridiculous. Derivative works is one thing.

Straight up ripping and rigging is another, and it's stupid.

I'm honestly waiting for shit from Defiance to pop up next in the Sci-Fi genre categories since they released it on xbox.
