[Event] coughed quietly while he was outside in the garden, working late into the night and early morning. It was hard to sneak out but he managed.
sneaked up behind him as she put a coat on him. "*Good morning~*"
jumped a little before putting a hand over his chest. "Ah... dank u..."
smiles as she giggles, "No problem! Dor Dor said that she went out earlier to get us some clothes and restock the groceries from the morning market."
nodded a little at that. "That's good... these vegetables won't be ready soon..."
smiles more, "Mhmm. I saw you sneak out at night time too but I don't think they'll grow any faster."
sighs. "I've just been watching them, making sure no animals got to them..."
nods, "I saw the nice lady coem back with a lot of wood the other day. Maybe she's gonna build a fence for you?"
blinks at that. "I could do that myself. It'll just take a while."
shook her head, "Nah, you can leave it to her. She's been such a helpful caretaker for us~"
nods a little. "I just don't know how to repay her..."
blinks, "She says we don't have to so I guess one of the other nations employed her for us or something."
frowns at that. "But... why is she doing this?"
sat down beside him to watch, "I don't know. I never asked her myself since I never thought of it."
nods a little at that as he continued to work in the garden, coughing quietly into the coat.
blinks at that. " Are you okay? You're coughing a lot."
nods at that. "I think it's just the dirt. I'll be okay."
frowns, "Are you sure? Getting a doctor from the town is a pretty far journey."
sighs. "I know... and I don't have anything to pay him with. It's okay, Elise. I've been through worse." He smiled reassuringly to her.
blinked at that smile and nods. "Okay then. I'll go make some soup for you to eat when you come back inside."
nods a little. "Be careful, Elise."
smiles and waved back to him as she went inside to get the stuff and work on it.
smiled a bit and waved back to her before going back to work in the garden.
peered over his shoulder not long after, curious as to what he was up to. "Here again are we?"
jumped and yelled out a bit at that, putting a hand over his chest again to catch his breath. "J-ja..."
chuckles as she saw him, "* Scared you a bit too much? Sorry about that*."
shakes his head. "It's okay... Elise did it earlier..."
nods, "Ja, I helped her make some soup earlier and she's waiting inside for you to finish."
frowned and nodded at that. "I'll be there in 10 minutes."
raised a brow, "You've been out all night and morning and you actually want to stall on your sister's cooking?"
frowned and finished patting down the dirt before heading inside.
waited for him before leading the way back to the house.
yawned quietly and rubbed his eyes. He was tired now...
noticed and carried him inside after, helping him take his coat off before getting him to wash his hands.
yawned more as he held onto her. When he was let down he quickly washed his hands so he could eat.
raised a brow, "Maybe I should have retrieved you when you sneaked out of the house if you're going to be this tired."
shakes his head. "I just had a bad feeling about the garden... it won't happen again."
looks to him as she seated him at the table before helping Elise put the food on the table. "Tell that to Elise, not me."
frowned and fidgeted. "...I just had a bad feeling about the garden. It won't happen again, Elise."
perked up as she was addressed and just smilles back, "* It's okay. I'm around if you ever need help with it too*~"
smiled a bit. "I know, but I don't want you getting dirty."
kicked her legs back and borth as she smiles. "*I won't and even if I do I can always take a bath.*"
nodded at that as he licked his lips. "Ja, but still. I don't want you getting too dirty."
settled down to eat after. "We can get Dor Dor to help us then."
coughed quietly. "If... maybe."
glanced over as she brought the water to the table. "That cough doesn't sound normal."
frowns. "It'll go away soon... I'll sleep well tonight."
nods, "If you say so." She stared to eat when she made sure they were okay
ate slowly and quietly, thanking them for the food.
wodered if he liked the soup or not. She put a lot of his favourite ingredients in there.
enjoyed it very much. It filled his stomach perfectly.
seemed rathered delighted to see that, "I made extras so you can have more to eat too."
frowns. "How much did this cost to make?"
looks over to the Dane, "I don't know but she wouldn't tell me."
frowned more and stopped eating at that.
glanced over to him when she caught sight of then. "Something wrong?"
"I don't know how to repay anyone..."
looks at him funny, "Who said you ever had to repay anyone?"
frowns. "I never get anything without some sort of trade or something like that."
hums, "You're doing work and looking after Elise well. It's a good trade in my opinion."
shakes his head. "It's not enough though. Not for all this."
poked his forehead lightly, "To me it is and you're getting a better deal. Isn't that the point of a good trade?"
nods a little. "But normally if something is too good to be true than it is..."
shrugs, "What so bad about it though? I don't mind it at all."
frowns. "I'm... just not used to it."
looks to him, "So? You don't have to be."
frowned at that and just rested his head on the table.
looked up from her food, "Broer, what's wrong? Are you not feeling well or is the soup not okay for you?" She seemed confused.
"All this thinking is making my head hurt..."
frowns, "Maybe you should rest..." She was really worried now.
made a quiet sound. "But the food..."
handed him a napkin as she got up and picked him up from his seat. "You can finish the rest when you're feeling better. Okay?"
nodded a little and just rested his head on her as she picked him up.
raised a brow as she brought him upstairs. She thought he seemed a bit warmer than she would expected. "Is your throat feeling scratchy?"
nods a little. "Why?"
frowns faintly as she tucked him into the bed before placing a hand on his forehead, checking to see if he had a fever or not. "You might have caught a cold."
frowns as he lightly tried to push her hand away, but to no avail. "How?" He was only a tad warm, but it was enough to be uncomfortable.
pulled her hand away after, "You think I didn't know you sneaked out at night?" She fixed his blankets and made sure he was comfortable. "The nights are still quite cold even thought its getting warmer."
coughed a bit again, nervous now that he was in trouble.
stood up again after, "Just rest for now and I'll bring you some water and medicine."
frowned as he watched her. "What about Elise?"
chuckles, "She can visit once in a while but I don't want her catching your cold too."
nodded at that, not thinking that far. He didn't want her to get sick, and if she did because of him he'd feel guilty.
left the room and came back with some medicine and a glass of water. "Don't be worried. It'll go away in a day or so if you focus on resting."
made a quiet sound as he looked at the medicine. "What's that?"
looks to him, "Its a pill that contains stuff that will make you feel a bit better so you can rest properly."
nodded a little at that. "Does it taste bad?"
nods, "If you bite on it. You'll have to swallow it quickly to not taste it."
frowned as he sat up, coughing quietly into his hands.
extended her hand to him which had the pill on it. " Here."
hesitantly took it and held it in his small hands.
blinks as she waited for him to take it.
quickly put it in his mouth and took the water to drink it all down with.
smiles, "Take it easy."
coughed a bit from taking too much water but got over it quickly. "I'm tired now..."
rubbed his back and nods as she helped him lie down again after. "Sleep. The medicine will help you with the symptoms."
nods a little as he got comfortable. "Dank u..."
smiles, "* Just call me whenever you need me*."
nodded once more before yawning and closing his eyes, quickly falling asleep.
watched him for a bit before heading back downstairs to take care of Elise.
didn't mean to be such a hassle...
didn't think he was at all.
just quietly slept, coughing a few times as he slept but nothing bad.
had Elise nap in the other room as she cleaned up the kitchen.
even felt bad for not helping. He was tempted to get up and go help, but felt he might get yelled at if he got out of bed.
wouldn't yell at him but she didn't want to end up having to take him to the hospital because he didn't listen to her.
didn't want to go to the hospital because he was scared of it.
had a feeling about that and went to check on him once in a while, staying by his bedside to watch him.

sleeping peacefully without any complications. He did seem to look calmer though when people were around.

was
doing some reading as she was glad they caught it early before letting it get any worse.
turned onto his side quietly as he woke up a bit. "How's my sister?"
looks over to him as she smiled, "Playing with the Rabbit and cat."
nods a little. "Is she sad that I'm here?"
shook her head, " Not at all She wants you to get better soon so you could pkay with her."
nodded at that and rolled onto his stomach, putting his hands under the pillow to try and sleep again.
watched him for a bit, " Is there anything you want?"
fidgeted a little. "Well..."
tilted her head as she chuckles, " You won't be charged for anything."
buried his head in the pillow. "I want my rabbit toy... I don't know what's happened to it though..."
thought for a bit as she got up, "Stay put. I might have a feeling where it will be." She left the room for a while before returning with one that looked a bit worn but in good condition.
smiled faintly while he saw it and held out his hand for it.
placed it into his hands, "Its gotten a little older I guess."
smiled. "It still seems to same to me..." He held it close and cuddled it even.
raised a brow, " That's good." She wondered how did such a sweet child grow to be such a butt. She sighed and shook off the thought. " *Is there anything else you want?*"
shakes his head. "Nee, this is all... dank u."
smiles as she reached over and checked his temperature again. " I'm going to check on Elise now."
nodded again, his forehead being a little warmer now. "Dank u."
chuckled and placed a light kiss on his forehead to help him feel better before heading out of the room to find Elise.
blushed and curled up some more.
hummed as she found Elise and decided to bake with her after.
tried his best to sleep, but felt guilty for leaving them alone.
just went with Elise's idea of making something sweet for him as a get well present.
felt baaaad. He didn't want to be sick.
smiles widely as she looked at the finished product. She went upstairs with the treat after to give to her broer.

asleep by the time she got up there, holding onto his plushie a lot.
gasped as she put the treat onto the side. She wanted to see her broer better and climbed up on the chair beside the bed.

breathing quietly and had both arms around the rabbit. He did feel better with company though.
smiles as she watched and stayed quiet. She wanted him to wake up to eat the treat.
mumbled quietly and reached out to her.
perked up a bit as she held onto his hand.
smiled in his sleep and squeezed her hand in return.
giggled quietly as she watched him.
mumbled some more. "Elise..."
smiles more as she shifted a bit closer to him, "Yes?"
opened his eyes a bit and smiled to her. "Do you feel okay?"
brightened up at that, "Mhmm! What about you?"
coughed into the pillow but nodded. "Ja... just tired."
blinked a bit, " Oh, okay. You should rest more when you can."
nods a little. "I just want you to be okay..."
smiles and nods, " I'll be, don't worry."
smiled a bit again before letting his hand drop and sinking into the pillow again.
wanted him to eat, " I made a treat for you too broer."
kept one eye half open. "I know it's good if you made it... is it close?"
nods quickly as she offered it to him. " Yeap. Sit up and I can feed you too~!"
pushed himself up a little and rubbed his eyes before looking to her. He licked his lips before opening his mouth a bit for it.
held out a small portion to him on a fork. She had made waffles with some fruits that would help him feel a bit better.
leaned forward and took the bite, keeping his hand under so nothing fell on the bed.
smiles as she waited for him to finish the bite first. She heard a click when she looked over to see Dorthe taking a picture.
jumped at that and coughed a little, not used to all the surprises.
smiles and showed them the picture on her camera after, " It looked cute."
hesitantly poked it, curious as to what it was. "That's me."
nods as Elise was fascinated by it too. "Yeap."
continued to poke at the device.
pulled it away from him before taking another picture of him, " Don't poke my lens."
yelped a bit at the sound it made before holding his rabbit tighter.
chuckles as his reaction and showed him the picture of him hugging his rabbit just now, " See? Harmless."
nods a little. "What does it do?"
smiles, "It captures moments like paintings."
tilted his head. "But it's so realistic..."
nods, "Cause it is real. There's not alterations."
jerked his hand back. "S-so... it is me? Like another version?"
nods slowly, "In a way."
frowned. "I want to be the only me..."
chuckles as she ruffled his hair, "It's just a snap shot of you. It won't replace you since its only a picture."
blinks at that, clearly still confused.
smiles, " Just think of it as a picture of you that was caught in that moment without the need to paint."
nods a bit at that, coughing quietly. "I see..."
rubbed his back as she put her camera to the side and checked his temperature again. " How's the cough?"

getting warmer to the touch. "It's fine..."
nods slowly, " I'll get some medicine for you to take after you're done eating."
nodded at that and kept near Elise so he could eat. He didn't have much of an appetite, but he wanted to not waste anything. And he liked the food his sister made.
watched from the side, wondering if he was going to be okay.
assumed he would be. He finished eating and laid back down in the bed.
picked up the dishes and scurried downstairs while the Dane placed the medication into his hand for him again.
took it quickly and drank the water just as before.
shakes her head as she helped Elise back into the seat before cleaning up.
wiped his mouth a bit before smiling to Elise, trying to show that he was alright.
smiles as she was glad to see that. " Dor Dor said that she did the gardening for you and put up a fence too!"
nods a bit. "That's good... She seems to know what to do..."
nods quickly, " Yeap! She's actually really good at putting together furniture and stuff too."
nodded some more as he yawned quietly. "You'll be okay then... in her care, that is."
looks to him as she climbed to the bed, "What about you then?"
covered his mouth so she wouldn't get germs from him. "I think I'll be fine."
settled down beside him, wanting to keep him warm. " Are you sure?" She curled up close not knowing how contaigious it was.
shifted away from her, scared of getting her sick. "J-ja..."
cuddled up closer to him out of habit. "Mmmk. I'll keep you warm now."
kept his hand over his mouth regardless. He did like the warmth though..
snuggled and hugged him. She wanted to comfort her broer somehow and this was the best way she knew to help.
thought it was the best way indeed. It made him happy.
smiles at that, "I love you sooo much broer~" She really cared about him.
smiled a little. "Ja... I love you too, Elise..."
giggled at that, clearly happy since it was hard to make him happy at times.

truly happy when Elise was with him. He was just worried for her health now.
blinked when the Dane came along to get her out of the bed. She wanted to stay with him longer but was reminded that she might get sick.
thanked her quietly before coughing into the pillow. He wanted to be with them, but not when sick..
spent the time with Elise, checking on him once in while to make sure it wasn't getting any worse.

totally passed out. Though at one point he had dropped his plushie off the side of the bed.
picked it up for him and put it back into his arms when she saw that. She tucked him in again properly and went back to caring for Elise after.
mumbled a quiet thanks and curled up again.
wondered if he was going to be able to eat dinner.

could bring it upstairs later as she was planning to make something that was easy for him to eat.

managed to slip out of bed and fall, keeping quiet since he didn't want to worry anyone.

sniffled a little and stifled some coughs as he got up again.
sighed softly as she picked him up into her arms, "Did you hurt anything?"
shakes his head as he rubbed his eyes. "N-nee..."
smiles, "That's good then. Are you hungry or did you want to spend time with Elise again?"
coughed quietly into his hands. "I just want to be around people..."
nods, "Alright, let's get you out of this stuff room for a while."
nodded and held onto her shirt. "I don't want Elise to be sick though..."
raised a brow, "As long as you don't kiss or cough on her I think she'll be fine." She brought him to the living room where Elise was watching cartoons again.
nodded and reached out for her once he was close enough.
put him down next to Elise who hugged him right away.
smiled and hugged her back. He was happy to be with people again.

glad he looked a bit better than before.

just happy to be with her again. He did lean his head on her a little though.
babbled on about the television. She wanted her broer to get well again.
watched it but wasn't really paying attention. He just like the warmth that Elise had.
kept him as warm as she could.
started to fall asleep on her... He didn't like having no energy.
didn't mind that as she made sure he was comfy.
startled himself awake after a while. "Sorry..."
smiles and rubbed his back. " Hm? What are you apologizing for?"
rubbed his eyes. "For falling asleep on you. I wanted to play and spend time with you."
shook her head, " We can play when you're feeling better."
nods a little. "I'm better now..."
looks to him, " Are you sure?"
nodded and gave her a reassuring smile.
hugged him again after." Okay~"
smiled and hugged her back lightly. "What do you want to play?"
thought for a bit, " Anything you like!"
shrugs. "We could go outside."
shook her head after, " * I don't want you to get sick again*..."
shrugs. "As long as I don't work, and keep warm I should be okay."
nods to that, " Mmk. If you say so." She helped him up to go outside after.
thanked her quietly as he headed out with her. "We can play something, anything. Whatever you want."
thought for a bit, "Maybe we can pick a some flowers?"
nods at that. "Not... tulips though, right?"
nods, " Of course not. They're too pretty to pick."
smiled and took her to another part of the field, which didn't have tulips but wild flowers.
thought it was going to be fun
started picking a few, making sure he cut them at the right length.
used put together the flowers to make a crown for him.
smiled as he made one for her as well, and lightly put it on her head when he was done.
blinks as she smiled widely in response. " How does it look?"
nods. "Perfect. You look like a flower princess."
blushed as she giggled at that and placed the crown she made on his head. " Then you can be the prince!"
laughs quietly. "I'll be your helper. Someone else will be your prince."
pouts, " But you fit the image better!"
shakes his head. "I wouldn't want to be married to my sister... I'd rather be here for you when you need it."
pouts more and nods, " Then you'll have to find me my prince then!"
nods. "Of course. I'll find you the best prince out there."
smiles and continued to make more pretty bouquets out of the wild flowers.
did the same, wanting to bring some to the house after.
helped him out as best as she could.
thought they had the best bouquet the land had to offer. Besides the tulips.
wanted to give some to the Dane as well.
would pick some extra for her then.
wondered if he liked their current caretaker.
thought she was rather nice, and didn't seem to be hiding anything.
wondered if they could do anything more to thank her.
doubted he could. He didn't have any money right now, and couldn't think of any way to repay her for all she's done.
thought they should figured out a day to make lots of sweets for her.
would be happy to do that, once he was better that is.
guessed that was good that. She would help him get better/
thought some sleep might help him get better, once they were done outside at least.
need a basket at this rate of how many flowers they were getting.
just gathered them with his shirt. Once he got as many he could he looked to her, wondering if they should go back.
thought it was more than enough since she might not be able to carry it all at this rate.
started back to the house then.
followed after him.
brought everything inside and helped Elise, wanting to wash the flowers before making them presentable.
wanted to find a vase or two and some stuff to make them even more pretty.
didn't know if he could reach wherever they were... he didn't even know himself.
walked past them as she raised a brow, " Did you have fun outside?"
nodded. "Ja. We're just trying to find some vases now..."
smiles, " Let me take care of finding them for you two. Just remember to clean up the clippings." She reminded as she went to get what they needed.
nodded quickly to that and cleaned the stems of the flowers before throwing out the clippings outside.
returned with some small vases for them so they would be easier to decorate.
started to decorate them instantly, unable to hold back.
left them be again as she went to do some paperwork.
put together the flowers nicely and wanted to impress her broer/
thought she was doing a great job.
took a few steps back to see how it turned out after.
smiled and nodded in approval. "It looks great."
looks to him, " You really think so?"
nods. "I know so. You really have an eye for these things."
smiles warmly at that, " You're the best~" She was happy and hoped he was feeling better now.
