peeled it off the dent in the wall and dropped it off at his desk as she passed by his desk without a single comment.
mumbled quietly in angry Dutch. He couldn't focus anymore .
could tell. She dropped off another stack of folders on his desk she was told to deliver not long after.
cursed again and just got to looking them over.
shrugs and went to her usual tasks of serving up tea and coffee.
continued to work non-stop. He had bags under his eyes and looked overall worn out.
exchanged the finished stacks of paperwork for new ones the other coworkers sent his way on purpose seeing he was invincible per se. She placed a mug of tea for him on this desk after.
barely even acknowledged she was there. He started on the new pile before eventually just laying his head and arms down on his desk.
didn't care as she was doing her job. She just picked up his slack and cleared up the piles, leaving his desk free of paperwork after without another word.
too exhausted and finally burnt out. He couldn't handle this anymore...
didn't say anything as she organized and completed it for him. She just left a small stack of papers on his desk that he could review.
might get to it if he woke up.
nudged his shoulder lightly as she had most of the important things completed. " Wake up."
shook him lightly as she had a feeling he wasn't going to wake up.
still didn't move. He had really over done himself.
ran a hand through her hair before going to speak with his boss about letting him off early and then taking him home.
wouldn't be pleased if she did that. He didn't want to seem like he was slacking..
didn't care. Besides, it was slacking if his work was done.
managed to wake up a bit after a while, but wasn't really aware of anything going on.
had just arrived to his house since she drove him there.
frowned, feeling disoriented. "Where...?"
parked her car as she undid her own seatbelt before undoing his. " Your house." She got out to get the door for him.
frowned and held his head as he slowly stepped out and headed to the house. He didn't like how he felt.
walked him to the house just in case he would pass out again.
dragged his feet a bit but was fine otherwise. He weakly opened the house before walking in, not once saying anything to her.
followed behind him nudging him upstairs. " Did you eat?" She asked curtly.
held onto the railing as he started up to his room. "I'm not sure... I don't remember."
shakes her head, " Go sleep. I'll make food." She had expected him to ignore her question really.
beyond out of it. He just nodded lightly and headed to his bed, though when he got there he just sat on the edge.
made some simple foods for him to digest. She brought it upstairs after a while.
just looking down as she came into the room. He still didn't seem too aware of anything.
put the food on the bedside table. " Are you going to be fine by yourself?"
nodded a little as he looked at the food. "I'm sure.."
left her number written on a scrap of paper on his table. " if you need anything, call me. Your boss told me to take care of you."
shrugs, " She said I'll be in trouble if I don't."
nodded faintly as he continued to look at the food.
watched him, " Eat what you can. I didn't do anything to it, if you're worried."
shakes his head, the thought hadn't even crossed his mind.He slowly reached over and began to nibble on some things.
straight forward considering how much he suspected her of things in the past.
only ate a little bit before holding his head.
raised a brow, " Have you been sleeping lately?"
shakes his head faintly. "It's been too difficult..."
seemed perplexed by him. " Have you been eating properly either?"
shakes his head again. "Too difficult too..."
nods slowly, " I'll take care of the cooking and extra useless paperwork then until you get yourself back to normal."
ran a hand through his hair. "I can do it. The paperwork and cooking and everything."
shrugs, " You'll end up burning out again."
gestures to him, " If you can't do it now, what makes you think you can deal with it later?"
rubbed his eyes a bit. "I can do it now. I got a break."
huffs at him. " Sleeping in my car doesn't count as a break."
rubbed his head a bit. "I'm awake now though."
rolls her eyes, " There's no guarantee you'll be able to stay awake."
shrugged as he went to go check the work.
shook her head, letting him be. " I'm heading back to work."
tried to read it over, but it all just blurred to him until he got dizzy and had to sit down again.
sighed as she cleaned up the papers. " See what I mean?"
handed him her glasses, " Try these. They take off the strain from your eyes when you read."
put then on loosely and tried to read, but everything still seemed blurry and dizzy to him.
watched him. " Still nothing?"
shakes his head as he handed her back the glasses.
ushered him to the bed. " That means you should rest."
got back easily enough before sitting again. "I'm not used to this..."
raised a brow, " I doubt anyone is after burning out like that."
frowns a little and sighed. He hated not being able to work...
crossed her arms, " Just get better and leave everything else to me until you can read again."
shrugs, " Its my duty according to your boss. Besides you're not a kid like before so I don't need to carry you or treat you like one since you should know how to act like a proper adult."
mumbled quietly as he got up and headed to the bathroom. He didn't remember anything.
preferred him as a kid because he was more understanding then. She just cleaned up the food after.
washed his face and cleaned himself off a bit, noting how drained he looks physically. He headed back to his room to lie down after.
set up the blankets and opened the windows ti make the room less stuffy.
slowly laid down and stared up at the ceiling.
left him be as she stayed downstairs after.
didn't end up sleeping, but his head wasn't hurting or felt as dizzy now.
reviewed the paperwork as she made some herbal tea to help him.
just covered his eyes with his arm and hoped that'd help.
came to check on him. She placed the tea on the desk and handed him a cool towel to put over his eyes.
thanked her quietly and put the towel on his eyes to see if it'd be any better.
figured the cooling effect would help him relax.
did feel a little more relaxed, but he still couldn't sleep.
wasn't sure how else to help him.
didn't know either. But because of her he was at least at home.
only did it because she would be blamed as she was a nation too.
didn't see why she'd be blamed for his dizziness.
the one who dropped off the work at his table because she was the gopher for his coworkers.
would still blamed the coworkers.
figured it was best to not get on their bad side if things end up like this.
didn't want to work with any of them anyways.
doubted that was a very smart idea.
just didn't know what to do anymore.
thought he could be a bit more appreciative of others at the very least and act mature like his promised.
mature... he just couldn't stand mistakes they made.
thought that was immature then if he can't by more understanding of others.
just didn't understand the mistakes they made some times. For now he just held the towel against his eyes, sighing.
reached over and helped him keep it in place. " Just sleep instead of worrying about other things."
"I can't. Too much going through my mind."
rolled her eyes as she sat closer to him and pulled his head onto him larp. " Stop thinking already."
tried to settle back on the bed. "I can't.."
((spelling with a laggy browser sucks T_T))
huffs, " Shut up and try. It's not like you haven't slept in a woman's lap before, ja?"
huffed and pushed away from that, turning onto his side on the bed.
left him be. " If you insist on being stubborn, there's nothing I can do about it. I don't like spending my time taking care of other people either." She got up using the same argument he used before.
mumbled quietly. "What help could anyone be to me now anyways?"
looks to him, " It's not like you'll ever accept help from others in the first place."
huffs. "I don't need help anymore..."
shrugs, " Even if you reject, there is always a point in time where you, yourself needs aid from others even if you don't want it. Sometimes its better to be more accepting of others and move on after."
pressed the towel onto his forehead again. "I'm fine alone."
nods. " As you wish." She left him be again, not even bringing up the fact that she went out of her way to help him despite others telling her not too.
did appreciate her bringing him home. But he wasn't one that felt comfortable with others in his house, or help him.
didn't care for the matter since she was given that duty by his boss. All she focused on was getting her work done and leaving once he was actually better.
still thought he was fine.
wasn't going to do anything about it since she knew she couldn't change his mind. She just checked on him once in a while and brought him food and drinks.
didn't end up eating or drinking anything, or even move much.
noticed and made smaller portions as she took his state in consideration.
just wasn't hungry... it wasn't because she made it or anything.
doubted he was hungry from how much he screwed up his own health.
had no idea what he even did. He just put work before everything else.
thought that was the worst thing he could do to himself.
thought he was regressing from what he promised. She went to just watch the Eurovision on TV since she didn't want to miss it.
couldn't be bothered to move. Though he wasn't that into it.
found that pretty sad since it was one of the very few forms of friendly competition there was amongst the countries.
didn't mind that his people enjoyed it, but he personally didn't get too involved.
kept the volume up to the point where he could hear it upstairs on purpose. She did try to sing along with some of the songs though out of boredom.
didn't mind listening to it until it started to give him a headache. He just sighed and tried to think of other things.
seemed really cheerful as the different songs came up. She was quite into it and even laughed at the funnier ones.
found it hard to even imagine what was going on in the songs.
grew quiet when it came to his country's song. She was a little surprised how good it was this year.
thought it was a much better improvement from last year...
hummed along with it as she watched. She thought it would have her vote this year.
knew it was a mostly political event, which brought out some of the fun for him.
didn't think it had anything to do with politics in her opinion. She smiled as the contestants were done performing and the votes were tallied up.
got up after a while and went to go see the voting. It's not like he could sleep anyways.
eagerly waited, waiting to know the results as she played with the rabbit on her lap.
stood by the door with his arms crossed. He didn't look worried or anything at all.
smiles as the 10 countries were slowly being revealed. She knew her own was a popular choice every year though she blinked when it came to the last one and glanced over to him.
raised his brow as she looked at him. "What?"
shrugs, " Don't you want your own country to be in it?"
nods. "It's always a nice economy boost. But it wouldn't be the end of the world."
tilts her head, " But its always nice to know another country is thinking about you in order to help you improve."
nods at that. "That's true." He held his head a bit after.
smiles when his name was called and glanced over to him again. She blinks when she saw him like that and went to help him upstairs again.
shakes his head a little. "I'm sick of being up there..." He didn't like being in one room too long unless it was his office. But even that was too much now.
sighs, " What do you want then?"
shrugs as he sat down on the couch. "I don't know." He couldn't tell what he even wanted.
set next to him as she nodded and just played with the rabbit. She didn't know what else to do but keep an eye on him.
would help her if he knew what he wanted. His mind was mostly blank though.
smiles as she played with the rabbit in an affectionate manner.
took a deep breath before getting up to go make some tea.
had made a fresh pot for him not too long ago. She also found some ginseng and put that in his tea.
poured himself a cup with some tea and milk, mixing it quietly. He didn't feel as eager to eat compared to normal.
((pffft. Trust me I'm half asleep and there's bound to be an error coming up soon))
sprawled out on the couch with the rabbit on her chest. She was bored and all her work was done.
sipped his tea a bit as he looked outside, frowning. He headed out with his tea, planning to work on his garden.
wondered if that was a really good idea. She shrugged and kept the rabbit company instead.
had been ignoring the fields lately and hated seeing his tulips in distress.
miiight have been treating them well in her free time.
noticed they weren't so bad once he started working..
liked the flowers so maybe she made sure they were well because of that.
didn't have to work so much because of that, which made him feel better.
fed the rabbit in the meantime.
ended up just sitting outside to enjoy the weather and sip his tea.
placed the rabbit into his lap as she was getting ready to leave. " I'll be back tomorrow to check on you."
nodded a little as he sipped his tea. "... Dank u."
nods as she adjusted her coat and went to her car with the paperwork she was planning to drop off at the office on her way home.
petted his rabbit as he continued to stay in the fields and enjoy his tea. He wasn't sure how to feel about the others actions anymore.
just did what she had to. She didn't hate him but she mostly apathetic about his problems and such. She also had a replacement cellphone for him arriving the next morning by mail.
going to get one the next day when he remembered about it.
saved him the trouble seeing she had the free time to get it replaced and with a more durable model. She saved his memory card and phone card too after peeling it free from what was left of the phone.
didn't mean to destroy it. Just the constant calls was getting to him...
broke so many phones before that she had lost count so she didn't judge him at all.
glad for that. He normally could hold his rage in.
figured it was better to take it on the phone than on people.
knew that. He tried his best to not take out his rage on people, as it always ended badly.
didn't see it ass anything bad. There was just another dent in the wall and some surprised people.
would maybe fix it up once he got back to the office...
going to take care of it herself since she was good with furniture. Well not as good as Sve but still.
thought that'd be better. Even if he ran IKEA now he still couldn't build. He would have just put a picture over the mark or something.
figured she could put her abilities to good use either way.
knew it'd be good. He got into the house as the sun went down, trying to think of what to do before going to bed. He made sure his rabbit was fed though.
had fed it already in case he hadn't or couldn't.
would only leave some treats like lettuce then.
