aw.. how are things going??
really good

she's starting to stay awake more which makes it a lil harder to get things done tho! lol moma needs a shower D:
use her instead of the pump?
it will probably make her fall asleep to nurse if you are engorged
then again i never have used a pump so i know nothing about bf'ing with those lol
they say she can pull more milk than the pump can but i've been scared to just try only nursing her again .. the first week i only nursed but then her jaundice issues and losing weight and the lc saying i had
low supply and she wasn't getting enough to eat.. i stopped nursing and went to pumping so i know exactly what she is getting
bah.. if you do that you will be stuck pumping until you want to quit breastfeeding. you should try and get her to nurse!
not to be pushy or anything, i've just been though the crazy early days of bf'ing now so i am here if you need some tips. baby at the breast will help give you more supply cause baby will tell your body to
i was taught that baby should have 6 to 8 diapers after 6 days of life in 24 hours, and a soaked or poop diaper counts as 2. as long as baby does that they are getting enough milk.
of course the losing weight and jaundice could be a sign of supply issues but the first week you are still getting your milk in so it could just be that you were still working on that.
and do tell me to shut up if i am too pushy with this lol
lol no not at all.. i know these things but i guess after being told her jaundice was making her lethargic and i thought she was getting full but she was just giving up and falling asleep..
i felt so bad to even think my lil girl could have still been hungry
breastfeeding is scary in the early days when you aren't sure they are getting enough cause you can't see how much they get. if you are getting engorged though, that might be a sign that you are starting to
produce more! i would try nursing just to keep her from becoming used to the bottle cause they she won't want to nurse at all.
i nursed her a tiny bit last night but she had already had a bottle 30 min before i think she just wanted to comfort nurse so i let her do that cause i wasn't worried how much milk she was pulling out lol
and i do miss nursing..it's the sweetest most bonding experience ever
i sadly hated the early days when vincent was small enough to snuggle because i wanted him off of me (i was having sensory issues with him laying on me all the time) and now i miss it so much.
gotta cherish that stuff as much as possible
