I suppose it depends on what you want to be able to do with your laptop/touchpad - and how much memory you want on your laptop (e.g., is it going to be your only computer, your primary computer...)

It will be the one i use the most i will have my old one plugged in as a pc i suppose

Hmmmm!! So many options.

I would pay attention to capacity then - for me storage extends the life of a device. Not sure how much music/photos/etc you have - or how much word processing you do.

Personally I'd go for a traditional laptop because I'd get more use out of it, more options for programs, and more storage for the price - but I'm a mac person so I don't know all of the PC options
