I mean, it is true that in Arthurian mythology, women are often the villains
But that's a trope for an audience 500 - 800 years ago
A modern audience doesn't see that trope and come away with the same message as an ancient audience would

So instead of laughing about how Jotnar are stupid with the other warriors, Loki teases the Jotun king to his face
