Plurk is not very popular in RL, not even SL.. there are around 2000+ SL'ers using it, but compared to RL it is almost nothing, this is why we never hear about it in RL tho

Most users are from south of Asia, China i guess It may be more popular there

I think it was codie or strawberrysingh who heard about it snd told others and it spread from there.
