I am serious, Southie: Aura is about to make "Problem Solved Monthly" where we make limited edition items and put them on the marketplace for a limited time...hell, i will even draw up a pretty frame for 'em.

there's always patience - if you're talking about Arcade, wait until the end of the month and then go, you'll get right in. or shop off-sim in a week or two.

I am doing the shopping off sim and i crash after i buy one singular item. Its so frustrating and i don't see the benefit. Given that the gatcha concept would be impossible on the marketplace,

but think about the hair fair...what is the point of it being inworld?

it's a combination shopping/social event. for the majority of SLers who aren't on plurk, it wouldn't be any fun to be shopping alone on the marketplace. plus, ambiance.

for the people that like these events, you have more patience than me. I just don't see the advantage

shrug, i have an old, slow computer and i was able to rez everything at Arcade, even on opening day. i like the AHHH I CAN'T GET IN rush of it. scarcity drives demand, if everyone had equal access, there'd be

far less sales, less buzz, less everything.

I love the hype of themed items, but the sales arena I can totally leave.
