when i knit in my high school classes (during a movie usually) i get the most interest from teenage boys

i always find it funny that the girls only want to know what i am making and that's about it, the boys always want to know HOW i am doing that and if they can learn too

i'm always asked a thousand time if i can teach them and i am considering trying to find out if i can get a sponsor to help me maybe figure out how to do that after school next year

Excellent! One thing that wasn't touched on was lack of judgment ... not of each other, but of our projects, whether we're knitting, dyeing, podcasting, etc. Before knitting, I was a watercolor artist. There

were no opportunities to travel and meet each other, so it was mainly online. Lots of friends, just like with knitters, but everyone had something to day about how your painting was wrong and how to fix it.
